Mr. Jackson's <br />current position as Director of the Surveying and Mapping Department at CCGA puts <br />him in the role of the main point of contact for all of our municipal clients. As a result, he <br />is personally involved in every municipal project from route surveys, hydrographic <br />surveys, boundary jtopo surveys, construction layout and as-built surveys, GPS surveys <br />and 3d Laser scanning. <br /> <br />Prior to CGA, Mr. Jackson worked for the Florida Department of Transportation as a <br />rodman, instrument man, and party chief. His last position there was in the Right-of- <br />Way (RjW) Engineering Department Calculation Section, where he prepared RjW maps. <br /> <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Diplomat Hotel, Hollywood, Florida. Prepared coastal control surveys for the 38-story <br />Diplomat Hotel in accordance with 61G17-6 and 62B-33.09 of the Florida <br />Administrative Code. Consultant for compliance with FEMA requirements; provided <br />exhibits and elevation certificates that reflected compliance with FEMA. <br /> <br />City of Weston, Florida. Serves as the FEMA Administrator as a function of a multi- <br />service, multi-year contract that CGA has with the City. In 1996, Mr. Jackson developed a <br />close working relationship with Ms. Susan Wilson, CFM, Chief, Floodplain Management <br />and Insurance Branch Division DHSjFEMA Region IV in having the City accepted into the <br />National Flood Insurance Program. In 2008, Mr. Jackson was tasked by the City of <br />Weston to have the City become participants of the Community Rating System. CGA <br />performed various engineering and surveying services, assembled existing information, <br />consulted with the City's Public Works Department, prepared the application package, <br />and submitted the request to FEMA's Ms, Susan Wilson and Ms Sue Hopfensperger, CFM <br />ISOjCRS Specialist for this application. CGA personnel worked with the ISOjCRS <br />reviewer to eventually have the City become CRS participants with a Classification of 8. <br /> <br />FEMA Administration for the City of West Park, Florida. Worked closely with Ms, <br />Susan Wilson, CFM Chief, Floodplain Management and Insurance Branch Division <br />DHSjFEMA Region IV on requirement issues and work closely with Ms Mollie Heibert <br />Rosario, MS, CFM Floodplain Management Specialist National Flood Insurance <br />ProgramjMitigation out of Tallahassee who performs the Community Assistance <br />Contact Report. <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.
