<br />CH~RE <br /> <br />') &^SSOClAlfS <br /> <br />project scope included survey, site planning, <br />hardscape, landscape, irrigation, stormwater, <br />and utility design, permitting, and <br />construction administration. This project <br />represents Mr. Betancourt's experience while <br />employed with another firm. <br /> <br />Ft. Pierce Kimberly Bergalis/Surfside <br />Park. Kimberly Bergalis/Surfside Park was <br />destroyed during the Treasure Coast <br />Hurricane events of 2004-2005. The <br />approximately 13-acre park was restored <br />using FEMA funds provided to the City of Ft. <br />Pierce for redevelopment of the park. The <br />design and layout of the park were <br />reconfigured in order to improve service to <br />the public. The program included parking lot <br />redesign, picnic pavilions, bathrooms, entry <br />signage, public open spaces, sea turtle <br />friendly lighting, rope and bollard beach <br />access points, landscaping, dune plantings, <br />and sand dune fencing. The project required <br />permitting through the City of Ft. Pierce <br />)uilding and Utilities departments, Florida <br />ish and Wildlife Commission and the Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection for <br />work east of the Coastal Construction Control <br />Line (CCCL). The project scope included <br />survey, site planning, hardscape, landscape, <br />irrigation, stormwater, and utility design, <br />permitting, and construction administration. <br /> <br />Miami Beach North Shore Bandshell Park <br />Improvements. This project consists of <br />proposed improvements to the existing <br />Bandshell Park located east of Collins Avenue <br />between 72nd and 73rd Streets within the <br />City of Miami Beach. The project includes a <br />new walkway connecting the park to the <br />beachwalk at 72nd Street; the widening of <br />the south sidewalk at 73rd Street which will <br />require either the removal or reconfiguration <br />of on-street parking; the demolition of the <br />bus shelter; landscaping, outdoor accent and <br />security lighting; reconfiguration and/or <br />addition of walkways; installation of an <br />electronic marquee; installation of the <br />"Beatles Mandala", a mosaic tile artwork; and <br />new urban elements such as drinking <br />fountains, trash containers and bike racks. <br /> <br />Chen Moore and Associates is providing <br />services including civil engineering, landscape <br />architecture and irrigation design work that <br />includes conceptual drawings for the 72nd <br />Street walkway and 73rd Street sidewalk; <br />design development/final design submittals; <br />estimates of probable construction cost; <br />government permitting (including Miami <br />Beach, PERA - formerly DERM, FDOT, FDEP, <br />and Fish & Wildlife); bidding assistance; and <br />construction administration services. <br /> <br />RFQ No, 12-04-04 Design and Permitting Services of the Intracoastal Parks <br /> <br />3-11 <br />
