RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />PROJECT NAME: Homestead Air Reserve <br />Base - Job Corps Center <br />and Pump Station 934 <br />CLIENT'S NAME: US Department of Labor <br />Parker Building Co. <br />Mr. Steve Clemmons <br />TYPE OF FACILITY Homestead Job Corp <br />OR SERVICES: Center <br />Engineering Design & <br />Construction <br />Management <br />SRS PROJECT FEE: $160,000 <br />COMPLETION DATE: March 2001 <br />KEY INDIVIDUALS Ignacio Serralta, P.E. <br />INVOLVED: Jean - Claude Fontaneau <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />SRS performed the site engineering design of <br />a 15- building /40 acre site including paving, <br />grading, drainage system, water and sewer <br />systems, and fire protection lines. <br />Work included design, permitting and <br />construction administration of upgrades to <br />pump station No. 934 to meet MDWASD <br />standards. Upgrades consisted of demolition <br />of above ground structure, design of new <br />pumps, new top slab, electrical controls, <br />SCADA, and site improvements and design of <br />new 1,400 LF -12" force main to serve pump <br />station. <br />SRS was also responsible for coordinating <br />with DERM, USAF, SFWMD, and WASD as <br />well as managing the video inspection and <br />rehabilitation of the existing sanitary sewer <br />system, and the installation of over 1,870 LF <br />of 24" DIP, 3,720 LF of 12" DIP and 250 LF of <br />8" DIP water mains.
