<br />Mr. Gatell is the Director of Surveying & Mapping for F.R. Aleman & Associates, Inc. and is
<br />responsible for all related operations. Mr. Gatell has over 50 years of experience which
<br />covers all of the facets of Surveying and Mapping, from complicated boundary disputes to
<br />Right -of -Way, engineering, design, environmental, GPS, construction and specialized
<br />surveys.
<br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />Land Surveying Services, Miami Dade County Public Schools (312004 - Ongoing, 3
<br />Consecutive Contracts). FRA has been awarded two consecutive contracts as a Prime
<br />consultant by the MDCPS board. Currently Mr. Gatell serves as the Project Manager and is
<br />providing various surveying and mapping services. Under this contract FRA has performed
<br />nearly all types of surveys including: boundary, topographical, specific purpose, review of
<br />public records, title searches, elevation certificates, roof surveys and the preparation of
<br />documents for the recording of easements with utility companies and /or WASA. Other
<br />types of work provided include Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and subsurface utility
<br />location and designation.
<br />Over the course of the contract, we have completed 88 Work Orders most of which were at
<br />different schools, on many occasions the services were required immediately and FRA's
<br />survey /utility crews began work within 24 hours of being issued the assignment. To -date
<br />FRA's survey and utility crews have completed ninety -six work orders. A sampling of the
<br />schools FRA has served is Leisure City Elementary; Nautilus Middle /Polo Park; Joella Good
<br />Elementary; MAST Acaderny; Redondo Elementary; and Central West Transportation.

<br />General Land & Engineering Survey Contract, Mlaml -Dade County (2002 - Ongoing, 4
<br />Consecutive Contracts). Mr. Gatell is the Project Manager for this contract which involves
<br />typical survey assignments such as Preparation of Topographical, Boundary and Record
<br />Plats. This project requires a great deal of coordination with other agencies within the
<br />County such as DERM, FEMA, Parks & Recreation Department, Public Works and WASA,
<br />also the Miarni Airport International Airport. Sample services that FRA has provided under
<br />this contract include complete survey for right -of -way and design for the Coral Gables
<br />Canal; right -of -way survey for the Northwest Wellfield Canal; complete survey for Dadeland
<br />North Rapid Transit Station. Additionally, 21 Canal surveys in Carol City have been

<br />Districtwide Utility Location Services (2001- Present, 2 consecutive contracts), FDOT 4.
<br />Served as Project Manager for this contract it involved utility location and various
<br />surveying and mapping of the existing surface and subsurface utilities. This contract
<br />provided support to the design and construction plans on projects performed by the
<br />District and it's Consultants. The survey and subsurface field crews provided accurate
<br />horizontal and vertical dimensions to locate the existing underground utilities using a
<br />multitude of methods including GPR, electromagnetic, sonic, GPS and vacuum excavation.

<br />Sawgrass Expressway Widening from Atlantic Blvd to Coral Ridge Dr. (2007, SUE /Survey),
<br />FDOT TPK. FRA served as a subconsultant, Mr. Gatell served as the lead Project
<br />Surveyor and conducted all survey services for the entire length of this contract. Contact:

<br />Districtwide Engineering Survey Consultant (1997 - 2006, 2 Consecutive Contracts),
<br />FDOT 6. Mr. Gatell served as the Project Manager for this contract, which was awarded to
<br />FRA 2 consecutive times. FRA is proud to have accomplished -150 successful different
<br />Letters of Authorization (LOAs) over a period of 7 years. Assignments under this contract
<br />included a multitude of surveying services such as the establishment of baselines,
<br />reference points, bench marks, cross sections, topographical features, DTM, GPS and
<br />rnonumentation for FDOT right -of -ways and control reaps. The last year of the contract,
<br />FRA provided assistance to the Department in the management of other consultant survey
