<br />Countywide Comprehensive Master Plan, Collin County, TX. As principal planner, Mr.
<br />Pobiner helped to coordinate of the development of numerous master plans for Collin County
<br />including thoroughfares, open space, and various county facilities.
<br />Countywide Comprehensive Plan & Development Guidelines, Ellis County, TX. Mr.
<br />Pobiner served as principal planner for this project that involved growth management and
<br />development guidelines to support both rapid countywide growth and development of the
<br />proposed Superconducting Super Collider National Laboratory, incorporating a planning area in
<br />excess of 614,000 acres.
<br />Dallas North Tollway Design Guidelines, Plano and Frisco, TX. The project involved
<br />development standards and urban design guidelines for a 20-mile linear corridor along the
<br />Dallas North Tollway through two of the fastest growing communities in the nation.
<br />Downtown Urban Design and Development Master Plan, Chapel Hill, NC. The project
<br />involved urban design and development standards for 3 key downtown parcels across from the
<br />University of North Carolina campus as part of an $85 million public/private partnership.
<br />Frisco Community Corridor Design Guidelines, Frisco, TX. The project involved
<br />development standards and urban design guidelines for all major corridors, 30 new
<br />neighborhood centers, and major gateways to the community, encompassing over 45,000
<br />acres.
<br />Town Urban Design and Comprehensive Plans, Flower Mound, TX. This project involved
<br />a comprehensive plan for one of the fastest-growing community in Texas. The plan covered
<br />almost 21,000 acres and proposed new development patterns for all land-use types, a new
<br />thoroughfare network, and a set of urban design standards.
<br />Urban Design and Comprehensive Plans, College Station, TX. This project involved a
<br />comprehensive plan and urban design guidelines for a 96,300-acre area, also incorporating the
<br />campus of Texas A&M University; plan included land uses, thoroughfares, parks, utilities, and
<br />urban design standards.
<br />Urban Design and Comprehensive Plans, Fort Worth, TX. This project involved
<br />comprehensive plan and urban design guidelines for a 576,000-acre area, incorporating land
<br />uses, thoroughfares, parks, utilities, and urban design standards.
<br />Urban Design and Redevelopment Plans, Dallas, TX. This project involved comprehensive
<br />plan and urban design guidelines for numerous portions of the City of Dallas, including Oak
<br />Cliff Gateway, the Cedars, State-Thomas, Fair Park, and Downtown Dallas.
<br />Valley Ranch Master Plan, Irving, TX. This project involved comprehensive plan and
<br />urban design guidelines for a “new town” situated between Dallas and Fort Worth, including
<br />residential, retail, offi ce, restaurant, open space, and community facility development. Valley
<br />Ranch is the home to the NHL Dallas Stars and the NFL Dallas Cowboys.
<br />Visioning and Comprehensive Plans, Canyon, TX. This project involved comprehensive plan
<br />and urban design guidelines for a 12,000-acre area, also incorporating the campus of West
<br />Texas A&M University. Plan included land uses, thoroughfares, parks, utilities, urban design
<br />standards, and a community-wide visioning process.
<br />Baltimore Orioles Spring Training Park, West Palm Beach, FL. Mr. Pobiner managed this
<br />project involving a site master plan for 10,000-seat minor-league ballpark, 1250,000 sf offi ce
<br />building, and attached residential, retail, and entertainment areas.
<br />Community Maritime Park Master Plan, Pensacola, FL. As principal planner, Mr. Pobiner
<br />provided recommendations for phased development of a mixed-use development including
<br />park and open space, academic and offi ce space, retail, residential, and parking.
<br />Florida Marlins Ballpark Master Plan, Hollywood, FL. Mr. Pobiner managed this project
<br />involving a developing a master site plan for a new, 38,000-seat major league ballpark in Miami.
