<br />Mr. Goykhman is Vice President of SGM Engineering with 38 years of Electrical
<br />Engineering experience, including 22 years in the consulting field. Mr. Goykhman’s
<br />responsibilities include QA/QC portion of electrical design and project management.
<br />Mr. Goyk hman reviews all design documents before being issued to the contractor
<br />for permitting and pricing. Mr. Goykhman has extensive experience with electrical
<br />renovations, alterations and additions for existing higher education facilities.
<br />
<br />Mr. Goykhman has a very sound working knowledge of Electrical Systems including
<br />educational, health care, communications, video, computer networking, fire smoke
<br />detection and alarm, emergency power and many other systems critical to large,
<br />modern facilities. Mr. Goykhman’s extensive experience allows him to be an
<br />excellent designer of power and lighting networks for all types of facilities. Mr.
<br />Goykhman has been managing design teams at SGM for over twenty years. These
<br />design teams have worked on projects for all types of facilities, including university
<br />campuses, institutional, educational and other types of commercial facilities. His
<br />experience allows him to establish the goals for a project and the necessary means
<br />to accomplish cost effective, innovative solutions. Mr. Goykhman has been heavily
<br />involved in scheduling and cost analysis of all types of projects. Mr. Goykhman’s
<br />practical experience results from working closely with contractors and from
<br />reviewing scheduling and cost information enabling SGM Engineering to provide
<br />accurate timely data to our clients.
<br />Project Experience
<br />Ongoing, Town of Palm Beach Street, Street Lighting, Town of Palm Beach,
<br />FL – Mr. Goykhman is an Electrical Engineer for this project. SGM was responsible
<br />for the replacement and relocation of 46 street light that currently serve Dunbar Rd.
<br />to Sunrise Ave. SGM coordinated with their facilities maintenance staff to
<br />understand their needs, standards, determine a realistic schedule for the
<br />design/engineering effort, meeting notes, probable construction cost estimate and
<br />finally obtained technical cut sheets of equipment desired such that aesthetic
<br />uniformity was achieved in the type of light pole/fixture installed. SGM engineers
<br />visited the various project locations to obtain existing data related to pole locations
<br />and sidewalk conditions. This effort will also constitute SGM to provide full
<br />Construction Administration services for the one and one-half months construction
<br />(1.5 months) schedule desired by the Town of Palm Beach. Upon completion of the
<br />construction, SGM is responsible for implementing the As-Built drawings and
<br />delivering the record set to the Town as a CD and a hard copy 11x17 set of
<br />documents.
<br />On-Going, Flagler County Courthouse Annex Sherriff’s Department
<br />Renovations and Energy Efficient Upgrades, Bunnell, FL – Mr. Goykhman is
<br />providing electrical design services the renovations to accommodate the needs of
<br />the sheriff’s operations. Renovations include the following: Add fire sprinkler
<br />system, replacement of the main fire alarm panel, repair exterior windows, confirm
<br />fire rated separation between Historic Courthouse and Annex, replace A/C
<br />ductwork, VAV units and controls, provide a ducted return system, test and balance
<br />the new system, replace all lighting with energy efficient fixtures and lighting
<br />controls, replace electrical power distribution system, new communications data
<br />and technologies equipment, renovate all restrooms to ADA standards, replace all
<br />suspended acoustical ceilings and grid with new efficient acoustic values, replace
<br />all water heaters with energy efficient units.
<br />2010, City of Orlando Events Center Parking Garage, Orlando, FL – Mr.
<br />Goykhman provided electrical design services for this $34 million parking structure
<br />which serves the needs of the Orlando Events Center. Nestor provided systems
<br />designs for the garage’s CCTV high resolution video camera surveillance system
<br />on all levels at strategic points of access. The design also included access control
<br />through the use of proximity card scanners at selected door locations. Fire alarm,
<br />area of rescue, emergency phone system, ticket dispensers, toll gates, and
<br />communication systems were also include as part of the systems design. The
<br />systems design incorporated local and remote monitoring of all systems.
