Life Cycle Cost and Long Term Maintenance Features, <br />10. Design and Planning Services: Construction Plans: and permitting. This approach will start in pre -design <br />through identification of all key personnel in the Organizational Chart with name and contact information, <br />along with areas of responsibility correlated to the project’s work breakdown structure. Everyone identified in <br />the Organizational Chart is considered part of the design TEAM. Each project will use a combination of face- <br />to-face meetings along with e-mal, project collaboration website, GoTo Meetings, and teleconference and <br />video conferencing technologies as available. <br /> <br />SGM will provide the following tasks: <br />1. Provide in depth analysis regarding efficiency of maintainability of building’s HVAC, lighting, power, <br />plumbing, fire alarm, CC-TV, fire protection and building automation systems. <br />2. Provide cost estimate for each line item relating to: building’s HVAC, lighting, power, plumbing, fire alarm, <br />CC-TV, fire protection and building automation systems. <br />3. Provide life cycle cost analysis describing delivery method, type of system and pay back calculations for <br />each proposed system. The proposed systems were: air-cooled chiller, ice storage system, DX-units and <br />water cooled chillers. <br />4. Submit schematic design, design development and construction document drawings after being reviewed <br />by the owner for comments and implementation. All the design documents will be in compliance with Florida <br />Building Code and local authority having jurisdiction over the project. <br />5. Submit drawings for permit compliance, assist the owner’s PM through bidding and recommend the <br />successful bidder complied with terms and conditions outlined by purchasing department. <br />6. Construction phase services: SGM will attend all the required construction administration meetings relating <br />to MEP systems, schedules, inspection of MEP systems, field reports and meeting minutes. <br />Other services include: review and approve all the shop drawing, submittals, payment applications, respond <br />to building code officials, building inspectors and any RFIs relating to MEP systems. <br />7. Close-out documents and warranty: SGM will provide the as-build drawings received from the contractor <br />and confirmed by SGM. <br />The close-out documents will include: owner’s manual, warranty items including: names, contract person <br />and duration of each components. Review and verify the T&B report with the mechanical/ & control <br />contractor. <br />8. Provide an 11 month post occupancy warranty for the MEP system. <br /> <br />Specialized Skills Available <br />SGM is aware of the City’s design standards, purchasing procedures, contractor selection process, permitting process <br />and close-out documents.
