G. BA -nsTA
&ASSOCLAM
17d
c. Assist the client and contractor with obtaining the Certificate of Occupancy if
applicable.
d. Coordinate with the contractor in order to provide the required as- builts.
e. Provide other assistance to the contractor as may be needed.
BUILD
"Build" is the only process that we have no control over but have included it in the "Method Sphere"
as the ultimate last step in the standard progression of the design process.
OVERALL ORGANIZATION TO COMPLETING PROJECTS
Greg Batista, PE, CGC, LEED AP, CEM is the engineer that is in responsible charge of all the
designs and projects that he and his company perform whether it's an inspection, a Structural or MEP
design. Our success, even during these hard economic times, has been mostly due to the non -
a
compromising implementation of our afore - mentioned "Method Sphere" tactic for completing our
engineering tasks.
The overall organization that is employed to attack a given engineering task revolves around the first
step which is the "Strategy ". It is during this initial and critical phase that we assess the scope of
work and apply the appropriate resources for its successful
and timely completion. Through the years, Mr. Batista has
been able to amass a pool of talent that are both full -time
U employees as well as hired consultants.
Whatever the project may be, Mr. Batista will always remain
at the main point of contact and will be intimately involved
in all the aspects of the project even if he assigns one of his
Project Managers to some of the minor tasks.
ABILITY TO MEET THE DESIRED TIMELINES AND DEADLINES
We do not know of any company that will employ a losing marketing strategy of advertising their
inability to meet deadlines. But as a licensed, successful and seasoned General Contractor, Mr.
Batista knows first -hand the importance of "doing what you say you are going to do ". Even through
these hard economic times, Mr. Batista is a continually sought -after professional due to his
unblemished reputation as delivering on his promises. Those that do not, simply wither away in this
A /E /C industry, where those that survive, are professionals that consistently provide cost - effective,
timely and quality services.
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH
RFQ No. 12 -04 -01
