r� <br />It <br />l� <br />LJ <br />LJ <br />L <br />�J <br />During Construction <br />Public Information Initiatives <br />Timeframe <br />• Maintain Direct Communication with Project Management and <br />Community: <br />The PIO will maintain daily correspondence via phone and e -mail with the <br />Project Manager to determine any project updates, issues and /or changes to the <br />project schedule. In addition, attend weekly progress meetings to report any <br />recent issues and receive up to date project information. Two week look ahead <br />if possible. <br />Submit Weekly Project Updates: <br />Weekly <br />The PIO will distribute weekly updates to affected area during each phase of <br />construction via email, door to door distribution, phone calls and web site <br />updates. <br />Maintain routine correspondence with all stakeholders: <br />The PIO is required to be on call 24 hours a day / 7 days a week to respond <br />immediately to any inquiries from the public. Routine project updates and <br />construction alerts will be distributed via door -to -door, mass mailers, phone <br />calls and media releases. <br />• Respond and resolve all public inquiries in a timely manner: <br />The PIO will strictly implement the 24/72 rule; where he must respond to a <br />PIO inquiry or issue within 24 hours. Thereafter, the PIO has to resolve and <br />Throughout <br />closeout the issue within 72 hours.
