Gonzalez, P.E. — Mr. Gonzalez is the President and Senior Engineer for CIMA and serves as <br />the overall Project Manager for all projects. Mr. Gonzalez has over twenty -five (25) years of experience <br />r� in the Civil Engineering and Construction Management profession and is familiar with all aspects of <br />J building construction. Mr. Gonzalez has spent his career working within the public sector, including the <br />past twelve (12) years as President of CIMA focusing specifically on providing services to municipal <br />agencies. Mr. Gonzalez has worked extensively on projects throughout the State of Florida with the vast <br />majority of the firm's workload has been on projects within the South Florida region. Mr. Gonzalez has <br />` p rovided services ranging from Civil Engineering design, permitting and project management, and <br />Construction Management services to a variety of municipal agencies including the City of Miami Beach, <br />the City of Fort Lauderdale, and the Seminole Tribe of Florida. <br />Mr. Gonzalez earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1989 from Florida International <br />University. Mr. Gonzalez is fully licensed with the State of Florida, and is a member of the American <br />Society of Civil Engineers, the Cuban - American Association of Civil Engineers, and the Construction <br />Management Association of America. In the course of his professional career Mr. Gonzalez has earned <br />the following licenses and certifications: <br />Certified Professional Engineer, State of Florida No. 47519 <br />Certified General Contractor, State of Florida, License No. CGC 1505020 <br />The following projects highlight the diverse experience of Jose. A. Gonzalez, P.E. on a variety of civil <br />aspects of project where he performed Construction Management services. <br />CIMA also was tasked to perform pre- construction and post- construction activities including temporary <br />relocation of facilities, demolition of existing structures, plan and contract review, coordination with all <br />utilities providing services, coordination of permitting, warranty submittal review, review of claims, and <br />submittal of all project files including as -built drawings. CIMA's performance on these projects resulted in <br />all three stations being completed on time and under the original allocated budget. <br />St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort & Residences, Bal Harbour, <br />FL: Located on 1,000 feet of pristine beachfront and <br />surrounded by over nine acres of lushly landscaped gardens, <br />the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort and Residences is comprised <br />lof 268 private residences, 183 hotel rooms, 37 condominium- <br />hotel suites, and 24 factional residences housed in three <br />glistening glass towers that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. <br />L-1 Starwood Vacation Ownership retained the services of CIMA to <br />provide Civil Engineering and Environmental Permitting <br />services on a consulting basis to review the Engineer of <br />L Record's design of both the East and West ends of the project, <br />which function independently of one another, and to review the <br />drainage calculations. Upon completion of this task design <br />I modifications were presented and new calculations were <br />provided. CIMA was then brought on to the project to assume <br />the role of Engineer of Record for the job and to be responsible <br />for all approvals from the Florida Department of Transportation, <br />L� Department of Environmental Protection, and any other <br />approvals required. <br />CIMA's Qualification Statement Page 8of16 <br />iliffiNk <br />
