The organizational model that CIMA operates under ensures that our clients are <br />effectively informed and communicated with on all aspects of the project. As a small business CIMA can <br />offer the personalized service that many of the larger and high - profile companies cannot match. <br />Furthermore, all CIMA projects are directly managed by one or both of the firm's owners. This ensures <br />that all communication with the City will be handled directly with the principals and not a Project Manager <br />or other subordinate. This contributes efficiency and open communication that is a philosophy for <br />success on all of our projects. <br />Project Management and Construction Administration: As a diverse firm with multiple <br />specialties CIMA's expertise in the Construction Management and Administration phase of the project <br />will further compliment the professional services offered by our design staff. An early requirement on our <br />design projects is a constructability review of the project documents by our construction experts. This will <br />minimize the potential effects of unforeseen conditions or problematic construction issues by addressing <br />them in the design documents and not waiting for issues to arise in the field during construction. <br />CIMA understands the importance of quality project coordination and communication. The breakdown of <br />project communication can begin with an inadequate understanding of the plans and specifications by <br />the Contractor or a lack of coordination and understanding of the work prior to commencing operations. <br />CIMA's professional services include participation in the bidding process to make sure all documents are <br />fully understood and the Contractor has all information necessary to bid the job correctly. CIMA will also <br />assist the City in negotiations with the Contractor and the permitting of the project. <br />CIMA continually strives to provide services in the most professional and highest possible quality to our <br />municipal clientele. This is achieved by the direct and continued involvement of the firm's principal <br />officers throughout the various stages of the project. This approach makes CIMA well equipped to <br />provide Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services to the City of Sunny Isles Beach project. <br />f Project and Construction Team Management: The CIMA team understands the <br />importance of high - quality project coordination and communication. A breakdown in project <br />communication can begin with incomplete or erroneous plans, an inadequate understanding of the plans <br />and specifications by the contractor or inspection staff, and /or a lack of coordination and understanding <br />I <br />of the work prior to commencing operations. Understanding and conforming to the requirements is the <br />key for success. <br />The best method to ensure success is to establish proper communication. We always perform an early <br />"constructability review" of the project documents to minimize the potential effects of unforeseen <br />conditions, errors and omissions. <br />The CIMA team promotes cooperation through coordinated efforts with all the project's parties. We <br />realize the importance of keeping the City's project manager, informed of all significant construction <br />activities.
