Furthermore, all CIMA projects are directly managed by one or both of the firm's owners. This ensures that all communication with the City will be handled directly with the principals and not a Project Manager or other subordinate. This contributes efficiency and open communication that is a philosophy for success on all of our projects. Project Management and Construction Administration: As a diverse firm with multiple specialties CIMA's expertise in the Construction Management and Administration phase of the project will further compliment the professional services offered by our design staff. An early requirement on our design projects is a constructability review of the project documents by our construction experts. This will minimize the potential effects of unforeseen conditions or problematic construction issues by addressing them in the design documents and not waiting for issues to arise in the field during construction. CIMA understands the importance of quality project coordination and communication. The breakdown of project communication can begin with an inadequate understanding of the plans and specifications by the Contractor or a lack of coordination and understanding of the work prior to commencing operations. CIMA's professional services include participation in the bidding process to make sure all documents are fully understood and the Contractor has all information necessary to bid the job correctly. CIMA will also assist the City in negotiations with the Contractor and the permitting of the project. CIMA continually strives to provide services in the most professional and highest possible quality to our municipal clientele. This is achieved by the direct and continued involvement of the firm's principal officers throughout the various stages of the project. This approach makes CIMA well equipped to provide Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services to the City of Sunny Isles Beach project. f Project and Construction Team Management: The CIMA team understands the importance of high - quality project coordination and communication. A breakdown in project communication can begin with incomplete or erroneous plans, an inadequate understanding of the plans and specifications by the contractor or inspection staff, and /or a lack of coordination and understanding I of the work prior to commencing operations. Understanding and conforming to the requirements is the key for success. The best method to ensure success is to establish proper communication. We always perform an early "constructability review" of the project documents to minimize the potential effects of unforeseen conditions, errors and omissions. The CIMA team promotes cooperation through coordinated efforts with all the project's parties. We realize the importance of keeping the City's project manager, informed of all significant construction activities. Before construction begins, we will establish the best possible method(s) of keeping the City informed in a timely manner. Initial communications with all the project's parties will be established upon receipt of the notice to proceed and begin implementation at the Preconstruction meeting.
