' ?�y OF SUVA Pr- <br />palms must occur on weekdays between the hours of <br />4am and 7am. <br />Requirements: Date Palm pest control contractor must <br />be a State of Florida licensed pest control operator with <br />a minimum of five years of experience in this type of <br />work. It shall be the Contractors' obligation to perform <br />regular monthly inspections of the palms and report to <br />the City any site condition which may be detrimental to <br />the health and vitality of the palms. Further, the <br />Contractor is responsible to report disease or other <br />problems along with recommended solutions. These <br />reports are to be written and should be received by the <br />City no later than ten days after each inspection. It is <br />required that the City be notified in advance of planned <br />activities in order to allow them to witness and record <br />the applications. <br />3.5.6 PALMS <br />Palms (except Phoenix Dactilifera and Phoenix Canariensis Date Palms): <br />• Apply four applications per year (at quarterly intervals) of liquid 16 -4 -8 with <br />micro - nutrients and granular 13 -3 -13 with micro - nutrients. <br />• The time of the applications will coincide with the lawn applications. <br />• The liquid and granular applications will alternate throughout the year (2 <br />applications of liquid and 2 of granular). <br />• Supplemental Manganese Sulfate and Sul- po -mag may be required to correct <br />nutrient deficiency. <br />• OTC (Lethal Yellowing) injections (See section 3.5.10). <br />• White fly and spiral white fly injections done every 9 months. The treatments <br />are to be made only upon authorization of the City, but the Proposers are <br />responsible for immediately notifying the City of any infestations that are <br />found during the daily servicing and inspection of the park. The treatments <br />shall be done to industry standards and shall follow the recommendations of <br />the manufacturer. <br />3.5.7 INSECT AND DISEASE ACTIVITY <br />Insect and disease activity, other than Date Palms, will be treated on an "as- <br />needed" basis upon inspection.
