Additionally, FLORIDA TURF establishes performance indicators that are used to establish trends in project <br />performance. All indicators and trends are evaluated monthly by the Project Manager. <br />Long Term Partnership <br />FLORIDA TURF is always looking for a long term partnership with our clients. Through these relationship we <br />come to know more about our clients and what they are envisioning. It is that understanding that helps us <br />find the best resources for our clients. <br />AN INTRODUCTION TO THE QUALITY CONTROL PLAN <br />Within twenty -one (21) days of the execution of the Contract, Florida Turf will prepare an submit a Quality <br />Control Plan to the Project Manager for review and acceptance. This plan will delineate the current <br />condition of the City's landscape and will be used as confirmation to the quality requirements of the <br />contract expectations. <br />For example, if Turf quality is currently at 60 %, our plan will provide details of all methods, procedures, and <br />forms to identify how Florida Turf will enhance and monitor its own work to ensure that the work <br />performed on a daily basis meets and exceeds the Performance Standards established in the Contract. <br />The same approach will apply to shrubs, groundcover, trees, palms, and the irrigation systems. <br />In addition, we will provide a system of routine inspections, assessments of the quality and progress of the <br />work at each site tailored to the different tasks and sites covered by the specifications. We will provide a <br />system to ensure that our employees are notified of deficiencies, that noted deficiencies are immediately <br />corrected, and that our employees are counseled or retrained as necessary to ensure that deficiencies do <br />not recur. We will also provide the Project Manager access to all of our documentation, reports, and files (to <br />include any forms on which Quality Control inspections are documented) with respect to quality control <br />inspections and any corrective actions taken. <br />BASIC SCHEDULE OF PROPOSED SERVICES (please refer to detailed chart provided) <br />WEEKLY: Basic Maintenance shall include Litter, trash, and debris removal and disposal; mowing; edging; <br />hedge trimming; tree trimming; turf maintenance; raking; sweeping; weeding, aerating, weed - eating, <br />herbicide applications including preventive and corrective applications, fertilization, insect control including <br />fire ant control, irrigation system repair and adjustments, Palm maintenance and maintenance of all street <br />and landscape furniture and structures, including graffiti and shopping cart removal and litter pick up. <br />E. PARKS, E6 In addition to the specification above, E6 shall also include theareas around the parking garage, <br />the area along the pathway to the Lehman Causeway, the areas along the Ocean Reserve Condo and parking <br />garage, and the right -of way along NE 193`' Street and those areas adjacent to the right -of -way (i.e. the <br />wall). E8 In addition to the specification above, E8 shall also include all the landscaping around the Pier Park <br />parking lot, the Pier Park beach access area, and the landscaping around the bathroom structure. <br />F. RIGHTS -OF -WAY, F1. thru F30. Removal of all litter in the medians on Collins Avenue from 195th Street to <br />156th Street, to include the 2 landscaped parcels on the west side of Collins ave at the eastern end of the <br />FLORIDA TURF AND LANDSCAPE RFP 12 -05 -01 Page 3 of 26 <br />
