<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Proposal No. 17-04-01 17 <br /> <br />additional costs that are incurred by the City for this work or items; either through a credit <br />memorandum or through invoicing. <br /> <br />C. Extended Warranty for Hardware / Equipment / Devices <br /> <br />The Proposer shall provide a five (5) year extended warranty for the term of the resultant <br />contract that shall meet the same system warranty coverage as described above and that was <br />included during the first year factory warranty period. The extended warranty shall include <br />preventative maintenance for all hardware, equipment, and/or devices to combat normal wear <br />and tear from general usage to maintain proper operations. Such preventative maintenance shall <br />include cleaning, inspection, and recalibration of the hardware, equipment, and/or /devices, at a <br />minimum. <br /> <br />3.10 TRAINING <br /> <br />The successful Proposer shall provide system administration, user, kiosk diagnostics repair, and <br />maintenance training to designated City staff. All training must be completed prior to Final <br />Acceptance of each phase of Kiosks installed. Additional training shall be made available via on- <br />line videos or other resources on an ongoing basis throughout the term of the contract awarded <br />as a result of this solicitation. Proposers should provide a detailed description of the training <br />services to be provided, including but not limited to: <br /> Length of training in hours per attendant <br /> Define type of training offered – classroom (city location or remote), online, training <br />manuals, hands-on labs <br /> Number of individuals to train minimum 4 <br /> Detailed scope of work with hours defined per each activity <br /> <br />3.11 THE CITY’S ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY <br /> <br /> The City will be responsible for providing the following to the selected Proposer: <br /> Power and network connectivity to each individual Kiosk location(s) <br /> Modifications to the flooring, to install conduit and cable routing to designated kiosk <br />location areas as needed prior to installation <br /> Assistance and support of network connectivity, implementation and setup <br /> On-site technical support staff for coordination of testing and setup (t he successful <br />Proposer must perform actual setup and testing) <br /> <br />3.12 RELEASE OF LIABILITY <br /> <br />The Contractor shall release and discharge the City of Sunny Isles Beach from any and all liability <br />for loss of merchandise, goods, equipment or other property of the Contractor or his agents if lost, <br />damaged, or destroyed by fire, theft, rain, water, storm, riot, civil disobedience, vandalism, or any <br />other cause(s) prior to final purchase of kiosk hardware. <br /> <br />END OF SECTON <br />
