S„NNT IS• Et <br /> City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> Personnel Policy and Procedure <br /> Policy Name EMPLOYEE REQUISITIONS <br /> Policy Number 207:1 <br /> Effective Date 10/1/04 <br /> Revision Date(s) 5/18/17 <br /> Prepared By, Title Human Resources Director <br /> Approved By, Title City Manager <br /> PURPOSE: <br /> To stipulate the process for requesting personnel and to inform concerned parties of <br /> staffing needs and to control staffing expense. <br /> DEFINITION/ELIGIBILITY: <br /> "Employment requisition" is the process of submitting for approval the appropriate form <br /> requesting additional or replacement personnel. <br /> POLICY: <br /> An employee requisition request form (HRD 1} must be completed by the Supervisor to <br /> whom the position will report, through the Department Head, and forwarded to the Human <br /> Resources Director when requesting personnel replacements, additional personnel or <br /> temporary personnel. <br /> Employee requisitions must be approved by the respective Department Head, the Human <br /> Resources Director, the Finance Director, and the City Manager prior to the formal <br /> commencement of recruitment efforts. <br /> Exceptions to this policy must be in accordance with the City Charter or have the written <br /> approval of the City Manager. <br /> The Human Resources Director and the corresponding Department Head must be <br /> informed of any deviations from policy. <br /> CODING: Words strierken are deletions,words underlined are additions. <br /> 207-1 Employee Requisitions Page 1 of 2 <br /> 55 <br />
