All sub-contractors must <br />also be licensed in their respective trades. <br /> <br />6. Sheet AC-2 is not legible, can bigger drawing be issued? <br /> <br />Response: The standard sheet size is 36x24. Please ask your printer to print the PDF’s on <br />this sheet size. <br /> <br />7. 120 days’ time is not enough considering the submittal and procurement time of the <br />equipment. Can you separate submittal and procurement time from actual field erection <br />time? <br /> <br />Response: The total contract time has been extended by 60 days to 180 days. <br /> <br />8. Will the controls contractor assist in the control of the temporary chiller? <br /> <br />Response: No. The controls contractor will only handle the new chiller, cooling <br />power, pumps, etc. <br /> <br />9. Is PVC acceptable for new chilled and condenser water piping or is Sch 40 black steel pipe <br />and flanges to be used? <br />Response: Schedule 80 PVC pipe will be acceptable to us. Condenser water pipe to be <br />painted with 2 coats of UV protective paint. <br /> <br />10. Crane will need to set up in front of building. Can this entrance be closed on a weekend? <br />Are crane permits required? If so, from who? <br /> <br />Response: The City does not require a crane permit. However, if any traffic lanes are <br />blocked, a lane closure permit will be required from the City and FDOT (if lane closure <br />extends to Collins Ave). <br /> <br />Although the Government Center offices are closed on weekends, the first floor of the <br />Government Center is home to the library, which is open on Saturday’s from 10Am-6PM. <br /> <br />11. Is Test and Balance required? <br /> <br />Response: Yes test and balance of the pumps, towers, and chillers will be required <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
