All sub-contractors must also be licensed in their respective trades. 6. Sheet AC-2 is not legible, can bigger drawing be issued? Response: The standard sheet size is 36x24. Please ask your printer to print the PDF’s on this sheet size. 7. 120 days’ time is not enough considering the submittal and procurement time of the equipment. Can you separate submittal and procurement time from actual field erection time? Response: The total contract time has been extended by 60 days to 180 days. 8. Will the controls contractor assist in the control of the temporary chiller? Response: No. The controls contractor will only handle the new chiller, cooling power, pumps, etc. 9. Is PVC acceptable for new chilled and condenser water piping or is Sch 40 black steel pipe and flanges to be used? Response: Schedule 80 PVC pipe will be acceptable to us. Condenser water pipe to be painted with 2 coats of UV protective paint. 10. Crane will need to set up in front of building. Can this entrance be closed on a weekend? Are crane permits required? If so, from who? Response: The City does not require a crane permit. However, if any traffic lanes are blocked, a lane closure permit will be required from the City and FDOT (if lane closure extends to Collins Ave). Although the Government Center offices are closed on weekends, the first floor of the Government Center is home to the library, which is open on Saturday’s from 10Am-6PM. 11. Is Test and Balance required? Response: Yes test and balance of the pumps, towers, and chillers will be required
