Generator must have the <br />capacity to power parts of the Administrative building 4th floor and <br />miscellaneous loads. The included loads are TBD during shop drawing <br />development process but shall include air conditioning of fourth floor, lights <br />and facilities NTE 900 450 KW. Generator system is to be equipped with, <br />ATS installed in or near the old generator room, and accessory controls and <br />distribution sub panels and wiring to provide standby capacity for the fourth <br />floor of the Government Center including providing air conditioning and task <br />lighting. Generator shall be compatible with existing voltage, and wiring in <br />the building. The generator shall be fueled from existing tank by means of a <br />new pump and piping extending the existing point of connection in the <br />generator room. Generator to be fueled from point of connection in old <br />generator room, work shall include, pumps, piping and control valves. <br /> <br />Perkins or equivalent. <br /> <br />New Wiring, switch gear and conduit, labor, piping required to install and <br />connect generator from its location on the garage roof to the first floor <br />electrical room shall be included. <br />Switch gear, junction boxes and devices required for proper connection must <br />meet exposure requirements, including NEMA III as may be necessary <br />Work shall include but is NTE the addition of up to 1- 400 amp panel and <br />circuit breaker in main electrical room and 2-100 amp Sub panels (or <br />equivalent) on the administrative building fourth floor or enclosures and <br />associated wire, wiring labor and rewiring, junction boxes and controls to <br />create a standby capacity to serve the fourth floor. It is expected that all <br />standby loads will be picked up in the first floor electric room or nearby <br />space on the first floor located in the garage. If load control devices are <br />required to prevent overloading the generator capacity they can be installed <br />at the most cost effective location. <br /> Work will include the connection of the roof top Chiller utilizing existing load <br />management controls sufficient to provide a working system to serve the <br />administration building 4rd floor. It is expected that any additional wiring or <br />home runs from the fourth floor in the administrative building to the main <br />generator room, the main electrical room on the 1st floor or the old <br />generator room will use the excess capacity in existing conduit.
