G. Rotate moving parts no less than weekly to insure proper lubrications and to <br />avoid metal-to-metal "welding". <br /> <br />H. Upon installation of the equipment, start the equipment, at least half load, <br />weekly for an adequate period of time to insure that the equipment does not <br />deteriorate from lack of use. <br /> <br />I. Materials which, in the opinion of the ENGINEER, have become so damaged as <br />to be unfit for the use intended or specified shall be promptly removed from the <br />site of the work, and receive no compensation for the damaged material or its <br />removal. <br /> <br />J. Arrange storage in a manner to provide easy access for inspection. <br /> <br />1. Make periodic inspections of stored products to assure that products are <br />maintained under specific conditions, and free from damage or deterioration. <br /> <br />K. Protection After Installation: <br /> <br />1. Provide substantial coverings as necessary to protect installed products from <br />damage from traffic and subsequent construction operations. <br /> <br />2. Remove on completion. <br /> <br />I. Assume responsibility for materials, equipment, and supplies sold and delivered <br />to the OWNER under this Contract until final inspection of the work and <br />acceptance thereof by the OWNER. <br /> <br />1. In the event material, equipment, and supplies are lost, stolen, damaged, or <br />destroyed prior to final inspection and acceptance, replace same without <br />additional cost to the OWNER. <br /> <br />M. Should the CONTRACTOR fail to take proper action on storage and handling of <br />equipment supplied under this Contract within seven days after written notice to <br />do so has been given, the OWNER retains the right to correct deficiencies noted <br />in previously transmitted written notice and deduct the cost associated with <br />these corrections from the CONTRACTOR's Contract. <br /> <br />1. These costs may be comprised of expenditures for labor, equipment usage, <br />administrative, clerical, engineering, and other costs associated with making <br />the necessary corrections. <br /> <br />1.07 SPECIAL TOOLS <br /> <br />A.
