1.05 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> <br />A. Measurement and payment will be compensated on a unit and/or lump sum <br />price as delineated in the Proposal Bid Form for which price and payment shall <br />constitute full compensation for furnishing labor, equipment, and materials to <br />perform work in connection therewith. <br /> <br />1.06 GUARANTEES <br /> <br />A. Guarantee materials and work performed for a period of one (1) year from the <br />date of substantial completion. <br /> <br />B. Take corrective action to eliminate defective materials or workmanship for the <br />guarantee period. <br /> <br />1.07 TESTS AND CERTIFICATES <br /> <br />A. Perform compaction tests as specified, as requested by the ENGINEER, and in <br />accordance with AASHTO. <br /> <br />1.08 EXISTING CONDITIONS <br /> <br />A. Project borings and soils report are presented in Division 1. <br /> <br /> <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01. BEDDING AND BACKFILL: <br /> <br />A. Refer to Division 2 Excavation and Fill and as shown in the Drawings. <br /> <br />B. UNSATISFACTORY MATERIALS <br /> <br />1. Unsatisfactory materials, as are identified below. <br /> <br />a. Materials which can not be satisfactorily placed and compacted to a <br />stable and durable condition. <br /> <br />b.
