SECTION 02310 <br /> <br />GRADING <br /> <br /> <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br /> <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br /> <br />A. Perform grading work within the limits, elevations and grades indicated in the <br />Drawings and as specified herein. <br /> <br />B. This Section specifies material and placement of fill above existing grades that <br />is not to be located under roads or under structures. <br /> <br />1.02 QUALITY CONTROL <br /> <br />A. Grade the site to the required elevations. <br /> <br />B. Spot elevations are shown in the Drawings and uniformly slope the finished <br />surfaces between these locations. <br /> <br />C. Excavated material meeting the requirements noted in the paragraph “Fill” may <br />be used in the formation of embankments as shown in the Drawings. <br /> <br />D. Provide from off-site sources additional fill material required to complete the <br />embankments. <br /> <br /> <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 FILL <br /> <br />A. Fill material shall meet the requirements as described in Division 2 - <br />“Earthwork”. <br /> <br />B. Fill material shall be reviewed by the Engineer prior to use. <br /> <br />C.
