<br />3.07 INSPECTION <br /> <br />A. Obtain approval of the ENGINEER of the pour limits of each day prior to the <br />start of pouring. <br /> <br />B. Do not cover reinforcing steel with concrete until the ENGINEER has given his <br />approval to start pour for the limits of the day. <br /> <br /> <br />3.08 CONSTRUCTION AND EXPANSION JOINTS <br /> <br />A. Locate joints where shown in the Drawings. <br /> <br />1. Make column joints horizontal and true. <br /> <br />2. Form beam joints with plywood and slope from the vertical 12 inches to 1 <br />inches away from the beam center at the top. <br /> <br />B. Make expansion joints straight and true and to details shown in the Drawings. <br /> <br />1. Securely placed and located moisture stops and inserts for cover plates. <br /> <br />C. When construction joints become necessary at locations other than those <br />shown in the Drawings, the ENGINEER's approval shall be obtained prior to <br />installation of the joints or pouring of concrete. <br /> <br />D.
