<br />SECTION 328400 – PLANTING IRRIGATION <br /> <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> <br />1.01 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br /> <br />A. All applicable provisions of the BIDDING REQUIREMENTS, CONTRACT FORMS, and <br />CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT AND DIVISION 1, GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />shall govern the work under this section. <br /> <br />B. Mechanical-location of <br />Meter. <br /> 1. Transplanting <br /> 2. Landscape <br /> 3. Sodding <br /> 4. Soil preparation <br /> <br /> <br />1.02 SCOPE OF NEW WORK: <br /> <br />A. The system is a fully automatic system with electric valves operated by controller. <br /> <br />B. This section specifies the furnishing of all labor, supplies, equipment and materials <br />necessary to complete the installation of all pipe and fittings, valves, sprinkler heads, and <br />controllers, as shown on the Plans as well as all other related responsibilities as described <br />and accompanying Plans. <br /> <br />C. The main shall not be under pressure while the system is not in operation. Electric to be <br />supplied by contractor. An electrical subcontractor shall provide all High Voltage electrical <br />work. All low voltage wiring for the operation of the sprinkler system shall be provided and <br />installed by the irrigation subcontractor. <br /> <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE: <br /> <br />A. Responsibility for Assuring of Quality Work: All work and materials shall meet or exceed <br />the specifications and standards of the latest Florida Irrigation Society, Minimum Standards <br />& Specifications Manual. <br /> <br />1. The sub-contractor's superintendent shall be well versed in FIS standard plumbing <br />procedures, PVC assembly procedures, blueprint reading and coordination with other <br />performing contracts or services in the project area. <br /> <br />2. All employees shall be competent and highly skilled in their particular job in order to <br />properly perform the work assigned to them.
