<br />3. All back flow prevention devices shall be inspected and certified before being activated <br />for temporary use in construction or for use in full operation. <br /> <br />4. All mains shall be constructed and pressure checked for final acceptance. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.04 PROTECTION OF PUBLIC AND PROPERTY: <br /> <br />A. The Irrigation sub-contractor shall protect all materials and work against injury from any <br />cause and shall provide and maintain all necessary guards for the protection of the <br />public. He shall be held responsible for any damage or injury to persons or property <br />that may occur as a result of his negligence in the execution of the work. <br /> <br />1.05 SUBMITTALS: <br /> <br />A. Two copies of manufacturer's specifications and installation instructions for equipment <br />and material required including data substantiating that proposed materials comply with <br />specified requirements. <br />B. Shop drawings for any special conditions not covered in the details indicated on the plans. <br /> <br />1.06 SUBSTITUTIONS: <br /> <br />A. Changes or substitutions of equipment or material types or sizes shall be done only when <br />written approval has been obtained from the Architect. The burden of proof of products to be <br />considered as equal is completely the responsibility of the contractor. No items part <br />discontinued from manufacturing shall be accepted. A final acceptance will not be issued <br />without a receipt of as built drawings. <br /> <br />1.07 GUARANTEE: <br /> <br />A. One calendar year: The irrigation system shall be guaranteed for one calendar year from date <br />of final acceptance. Guarantee shall include all material and workmanship except for <br />damages or theft resulting from others. <br /> <br />1.08 AS-BUILT DRAWINGS: <br /> <br />A. Prints of the Plans prepared by the Design Consultant will be supplied to the sub- <br />contractor for recording "As-Built" information. In addition, the Contractor shall have a <br />set of prints of the shop drawings prepared by the Subcontractors, etc. for recording "As- <br />Built" information. These prints shall be kept at the job site at all times. <br /> <br />B. Immediately upon installation of any work, which deviates from what is shown on the prints, <br />the sub-contractor shall clearly indicate such changes in red pencil on the prints. Such <br />changes shall include, but not be limited to, changes in (1) material, (2) sizes of material, (3) <br />location, and (4) quantities.
