<br />C. Upon completion of the work, the Contractor shall provide a completed set of "As-Built" <br />prints to the Owner after the review and approval by the Design Consultant. “As-Built” <br />drawings compiled from Contractor field notes and field adjustments. <br /> <br />D. Submit two copies of an Operating and Maintenance Data Manual including complete <br />instructions for operation and maintenance of the irrigation system. <br /> <br /> <br />PART 2 - MATERIALS <br /> <br />2.01 PIPE AND FITTINGS: <br /> <br />A. PVC: All pipes shall be Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) unless noted on the Plans or called for in <br />these Specifications. All pipes shall be new and free from defects and shall be continuously <br />marked indicating size, schedule type and Department of Commerce Standard Reference. <br />Pipe shall be furnished in standard length of twenty (20) feet. <br /> <br />1. All lateral pipe to be class 160, unless rocky terrain is encountered, in which case Sch. <br />40 shall be used. All mainline 4" and greater shall be class 160 PVC, while 3" and <br />smaller shall be Sch. 40 PVC. <br /> <br />B. Galvanized Steel Pipe: All mains which are exposed to possible damage, such as above <br />ground, shall be threaded end, standard weight, Schedule 40 galvanized steel pipe and 150 <br />pound galvanized malleable fittings. <br /> <br />C. Electrical Conduit Pipe, PVC: All pipe shall be gray color Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), and <br />U.L. approved for electrical wiring and installation below grade. All pipe shall be new and <br />free from defects and shall be continuously marked indicating size, schedule type and <br />Department of Commerce Standard Reference. Pipe shall be furnished in standard length of <br />twenty (20) feet. Wiring shall be placed in conduit when located under roadways. <br /> <br />D. Concrete: Portland cement with light aggregate, bag mix with minimum strength of 2000 PSI <br />or equal. <br /> <br />2.02 RISERS: <br /> <br />A. Threaded pipe shall be PVC Schedule 80. <br /> <br />2.03 PIPE FITTINGS: <br /> <br />A. All PVC pipe shall have PVC solvent weld Schedule 40 fittings. The primer and solvent <br />shall be compatible with the pipe and fittings. No male threaded PVC fittings are to be used, <br />with the exception of street sleeves and riser adapters. <br /> <br />B. Galvanized steel pipe shall have threaded standard 150-pound galvanized malleable fittings. <br /> <br />C.
