Using monthly
themes as one planning factor and a campaign-style approach, IGS will implement
proactive outreach, leveraging the benefits of the Sunny Isles Beach community. We will
work with editorial calendars for target areas to develop an 18-month planning calendar of
events that will enable SIBTMC to make use of communications outreach opportunities.
Stage 4 - Outreach: At this stage, IGS merges SIBTMC's and a given organization's
common objectives to create a pitch/proposal and solicit buy-in from the potential partner.
We will work with the organization to create measureable outcomes through tactics like
communications plans, media relations, and content and web support. Using monthly
themes, IGS will provide campaigns on the selected topics directed to target audiences.
Stage 5 - Relationship Management: IGS uses mutual promotional opportunities to keep
partners engaged. We create plans and continue to engage each partner with ways to co-
publish articles, sponsor events, or conduct similar outreach as part of our campaign.
Crisis Communications
Our team is experienced in managing internal and external communications during
situations that can impact the reputation of our clients. Our plans not only focus on media
relations and communication response, but also detail guidelines for rapid assessment of
crisis scenarios and strategies for responding to situations quickly and effectively. The plan
is created based on the baseline research conducted during the contract start, which
enables IGS to predict crisis scenarios based on the City of Sunny Isles Beach's geographic
location, stakeholders, and political climate. As a best practice, the IGS team revisits crisis
communication plans annually (unless an industry requires more frequent assessments) to
make revisions, update our list of media contacts, and ensure that all information is timely
and relevant.
Our goal in crisis management planning is to establish a roadmap of procedures for dealing
with crisis situations, ensuring that leadership and staff roles are well defined. The
objectives of the plan are to clearly direct applicable SIBTMC leadership and staff on the
process.
Specifically, the plan will:
1. Detail the process for effectively assessing the situation/crisis and determining the best
plan of action.
2. Outline the process for briefing the leadership team on the situation and required
action.
3. Highlight the roles and responsibilities of the response team.
4. Provide strategy to communicate the incident to the media and minimize rumors.
5. Restore order.
0 6. Outline responses to scenarios likely to impact SIBTMC and its staff and stakeholders.
1iC
-4;://11,..Fq re, r gfz' 'y +
•
Proprietary and Confidential. This proposal response includes data that shall not be disclosed outside of the %f'e ';fr,
`r
l CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH,and shall not be duplicated, used,or disclosed — in whole or in part—for any G 1,1 11
Isom Global Strategies purpose other than to evaluate this response. iv''ir
