<br />3.9 MAINTENANCE
<br />
<br />The contractor will be expected to operate and maintain the premises in good and safe conditions
<br />and in accordance with industry standards. This maintenance includes, but is not limited to, the
<br />maintenance and repair of the ice surface. Other safety or maintenance concerns, including al l
<br />interior and exterior structures, building systems, utility systems and connections, sewer systems
<br />and connections, equipment, lighting, sidewalks, paved areas, temporary structures, ice ribbon
<br />refrigeration system, gutters, curbs, and fixtures, should be immediately communicated to the
<br />City’s representative. The property will be kept free of litter at all times and trash cans will be
<br />emptied as frequently as necessary to prevent any overflowing debris. The City will provide on-site
<br />storage for the Zamboni and a limited amount of space for other ice building and maintenance
<br />equipment for use during the operating season. Proposer shall submit a maintenance plan with
<br />their proposal.

<br />3.10 LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
<br />
<br />Proposer agrees to comply, subject to applicable professional standards, with the provisions of any
<br />and all applicable Federal, State, County and City orders, statutes, ordinances, rules and regulations
<br />which may pertain to the Services required under the Agreement, including but not limited to:
<br />
<br />1. Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
<br />2. City Building & Mechanical Codes
<br />3. American Standard of Refrigeration Piping ASA B31.5
<br />4. American Standard of Pressure Piping ASA B31.1
<br />5. American Standard Code for Pressure Vessels
<br />6. American National Standard B9.1, Safety Code For Mechanical Engineering
<br />7. National Electric Code
<br />8. ASME Code
<br />9. ARI American Standard 590
<br />10. UL Listed
<br />11. ASHRAE Handbook for Mechanical Engineering
