B. Miami-Dade County Florida Department of Small Business Development Participation Provisions, as <br /> applicable to this RFP. <br /> C. Occupational Safety and health Act (OSHA) as applicable to this contract <br /> D. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as applicable to this contract <br /> E. "Conflicts of Interest" subject to the provisions of Chapter 112, Florida Statutes <br /> F. Alpine Towing will adhere to the Florida Department of Transportation's Uniform manual on Traffic <br /> Control for construction and maintenance work zones when working on or near a roadway. <br /> G. E-VERIFY: Alpine towing acknowledges that the City may be utilizing the proposer's services for a <br /> project that is funded in whole or in part by State funds pursuant to a contract between the City and <br /> State agency. Alpine shall be responsible for complying with the E-Verify requirements in the contract <br /> and using the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system to verify the employment of all <br /> new employees hired by Alpine during the Agreement term. Alpine Towing acknowledges that the <br /> terms of this paragraph are material terms, the breach of any of which shall constitute a default under <br /> the Agreement. <br /> H. Solicitation, Giving and Acceptance of Gifts Policy — Florida Statute 112.313 prohibits the solicitation or <br /> acceptance of Gifts.—"No Public officer, employee of an agency or candidate for nomination or election <br /> shall solicit or accept anything of value to the recipient, including a gift, loan, vote, official action, or <br /> judgment, of the public officer, employee, or candidate would be influenced thereby." ... The term <br /> "public officer" includes any person elected or appointed to hold office in any agency, including any <br /> person serving on an advisory body." <br /> Drop Fees &City's Right to Cancel Tow or Order Release of Vehicle <br /> Alpine understands that should the owner of the vehicle arrive to the scene,they may take the vehicle <br /> free of charge, upon presenting proof of ownership and identification. <br /> Alpine also understands that the Contract Manager or designee reserves the right to cancel a tow on <br /> scene prior to hook-up to wrecker and also reserves the right to order the release of an already <br /> impounded vehicle. <br /> Response Time <br /> Alpine is fully prepared to meet or exceed the required response time of 30 minutes or less for <br /> Emergency-Police Directed tows and 45 minutes for non-emergency calls. If Alpine Towing is not able to <br /> respond within the required time, notice will be given to the department, so back-up can be requested. <br />
