Performance Fee <br /> 0 <br /> Alpine understands that the Performance Fee will insure that it will arrive promptly to the City's request for <br /> towing service. It also understands that penalties may be assessed accordingly and that repeated penalties may <br /> result in termination of this RFP. <br /> Alpine agrees to pay the penalty amount of $125.00 for arrivals exceeding 30 minutes to Emergency calls and <br /> $100.00 for arrivals exceeding 45 minutes for Non-Emergency service. <br /> Non-Consent Tow Rates <br /> As Alpine Towing has submitted this proposal, it agrees to be in accordance with the Miami-Dade County <br /> Maximum Rates as outlined in Attachment "A", which can only be adjusted by County revisions to these rates. <br /> Alpine Towing has posted the contract rates in a visible area for the public to review at the office location for <br /> retrieving their vehicle. <br /> Forfeiture/Crime Scene Tow Rates <br /> Alpine agrees to tow vehicles for crime scene investigation and forfeitures to the Police Department at no cost <br /> to the City. When the vehicle is returned to the owner, contract rates for towing and storage will be charged to <br /> the vehicle owner. <br /> 0 Equipment Requirements <br /> Alpine Towing will provide and maintain the minimum number of equipment required to perform this RFP. As <br /> will be shown in Attachment "B", Alpine exceeds the minimum required equipment and has attached copies of <br /> each registration to prove ownership of each wrecker that will be used to perform towing services as outlined in <br /> this RFP. Each wrecker is properly marked with the company name, address and telephone numbers on both <br /> doors as required by State and Local Statutes. <br /> Required Equipment on Each Wrecker <br /> The following equipment will be on every wrecker performing towing services as outlined in this RFP: <br /> 1. SAND OR OIL ABSORBENT <br /> 2. REFLECTORS <br /> 3. HEAVY DUTY BROOM <br /> 4. PROPER SAFETY LIGHTS <br /> 5. AMBER ROTATIONAL LIGHTS <br /> 6. TWO FLOODLIGHTS AT REAR <br /> 7. TWO-WAY RADIO <br /> 8. QUICK START JUMPER CABLE EQUIPMENT <br /> 9. MINIMUM OF 2 SAFETY CONES, DAY-GLOW ORANGE 2 FT. HIGH <br /> 10. SHOVEL <br /> 11. AXE <br /> 12.
