APPROACH/METHODOLOGY I Q <br /> TECHNICAL SCOPE OF WORK <br /> FIELD CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCING <br /> The work done to complete the preparation and installation of the synthetic turf system shall include: <br /> • The removal and disposal of any and all vegetative layer, organics or other materials deemed <br /> undesirable and/or detrimental to the synthetic turf system. <br /> • Excavation to the depth required to accommodate the required cross-section, slope and finished grades. <br /> • Contouring, sloping rough grading and compaction of the remaining sub-base to the required <br /> specifications. <br /> • Installation of a non-woven geotextile fabric over the sub-base of the total area with synthetic turf and <br /> the perimeter trenches. <br /> • Installation of a concrete perimeter curb/anchor with an attached pressure treated nailer board for <br /> anchoring the synthetic turf. <br /> • Excavation and installation of a trench drain around the perimeter of the area with synthetic turf. The <br /> trench shall include a 010"(min) perforated pipe that is wrapped in a filter "sock". The perforated pipe <br /> ® shall be directly connected to the tiled drain field piping (see below).
