7.6 Construction Phase: <br />a) The Contractor shall provide City with copies of all approved submittals. <br />b) Contractor shall carefully plan and coordinate his/her activities to minimize any <br />adverse impact or disruptions to Miami -Dade County's operations and the patron's <br />ability to safely access and use the facility and/or secondary amenities/facilities <br />(such as restrooms; water fountains; vending machines; etc.) <br />c) Contractor shall implement and maintain specific steps/means to allow for such <br />uses and to prevent any hazards to patrons throughout the construction period. <br />Contractor's limits of work should be properly fenced, and control over the points <br />of access (such as gates, etc.) should be maintained by Contractor at all times and <br />always secured at the end of each work period. <br />d) Contractor shall provide means for maintaining free, safe, and uninterrupted access <br />to the existing facility. where work will be taking place and surrounding spaces <br />must be safely maintained at all time. <br />e) Contractor shall confine all permanent storage of materials and/or equipment to the <br />assigned construction area(s). <br />7.7 Project Closeout. At the time of Substantial Completion, Contractor shall advise City and <br />Miami -Dade County to participate in the Substantial Completion walk thru in order to <br />jointly complete the punch list items. Before Final Completion can be achieved, all Work <br />must be completed and accepted by both the City and Miami -Dade County and the <br />following documents must be attached to the Document Closeout: <br />1. Completed Punch List(s) <br />2. Electronic copy in pdf format of final approved Operation and Maintenance (0&M) <br />Manuals. <br />3. As -Built drawings converted to accurate Record Drawings. <br />4. Written certification signed by the City of delivery. <br />5. Delivery of all warranties required by the Contract Documents <br />6. All approved building permits and other code certifications. <br />7. Final and Unconditional Releases of Lien (or a Final Consent of Surety) from <br />Contractor. <br />8. Final and Unconditional Releases of Lien from any vendors, subcontractors, <br />mechanics, laborers, material suppliers, etc. that filed a Notice to Owner for the project. <br />9. Contractor shall ensure that any requests for warranty work produced by either City or <br />Miami -Dade County are timely addressed pursuant to the warranty period established <br />in the Contract Documents. <br />ARTICLE 8. FIELD DIRECTIVES <br />The City may at times issue Field Directives to the Contractor based on visits to the Project <br />site. Such Field Directives shall be issued in writing and the Contractor shall be required to comply <br />with such directive. Where the Contractor believes that the directive is outside the scope of the <br />Work, the Contractor shall, within 48 hours, notify the City that the Field Directive is outside <br />the scope of the Work.
