PERMITTING, BIDDING, NEGOTIATING, PHASE 5 <br /> We will issue a permit set and will respond to any necessary comments through all required disciplines including <br /> but not limited to Miami-Dade County, DERM and other agencies. P +W understands that the City will solicit bids <br /> from prequalified contractors and identify long lead time items. Our team will respond to questions raised <br /> concerning the documents (RFI's.) We will answer questions from bidding contractors and develop any addenda <br /> drawings to address the questions as required. We will attend General Contractor bid review meetings as requested. <br /> This phase includes two (2) meetings. Additional meetings, Permitting duration, or scope beyond that specified-herein <br /> will be billed hourly. We recommend the client hires a plans expediter to assist in the processing of permits. Our <br /> scope includes: <br /> A. Permit Set and coordination with owner provided Expeditor <br /> B. Conferences with staff <br /> C. Bidding/proposal documents <br /> D. Reproduction and distribution of bidding/proposal documents <br /> E. Special bidding/proposal addenda <br /> F. Analysis of alternates/substitutions <br /> G. Pre-bid conference/selection interviews <br /> H. Bidding/Negotiations <br /> I. Bid/proposal evaluation <br /> J. Contract award <br /> F. CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION, PHASE 6 <br /> The primary goal of this phase of the project is to provide information, direction and assistance to the owner and <br /> constructor that reinforces and clarifies the design intent set forth in the contract documents, both in the field and <br /> in the review of submittals. Additionally, the architect's role as the owner's advocate is exercised through field <br /> observations, submittal review, changes to the work and review of constructor Payment Applications. We will <br /> review and approve required shop drawings, samples, product information, as required to facilitate completion of <br /> the project. Review period to be within 1 week for any single submission. <br /> We will visit and walk the premises or the fabricator's shop, if located in South Florida, and as required during <br /> construction as to monitor progress of the work and verify that work is proceeding in accordance with the contract <br /> documents. These Construction Administration visits will be a maximum of 1 visit every 2 weeks for the duration of <br /> construction/fabrication up to six (6) months, and one (1) Punch List review. Our team will prepare periodic field <br /> observations, and review and process the contractor's application for payment. Additional meetings listed above, <br /> extended CA duration, or CA scope beyond that specified herein will be billed hourly. <br /> At the end of this phase, the architect assists in the Project Close-out as a means of transferring ownership of the <br /> project from the constructor to the owner. This Construction Administration fee assumes a total 24 weeks for <br /> fabrication and construction and includes: <br /> A. Bi-weekly construction meeting on site with the Consultant, architect and owner's representative (OAC Meetings) <br /> B. General administration of the contract for construction <br /> C.
