The assessment included roving and transect surveys, detailed habitat mapping <br />and photo and video surveillance. Data was analyzed to identify specifies abundance and diversity, habitat <br />complexity, as well as overall resources complexity and health at the Project site. Prepared an Environmental <br />Impact Assessment for the Bahamas Environment Science and Technology Commission (BEST). <br />Crandon Park Swim Zone, Key Biscayne <br />Coco Plum Beach <br />(3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm <br />Conducted a marine resource survey at designated survey sites planning approximately 3 miles of <br />Biscayne Bay to identify and delineate areas with marine resources (seagrass, corals, or other <br />organisms of significance) within the proposed buoy locations. Coordinated with DERM, DEP, USCG <br />and FWC to obtain permits for creating a vessel-free swim zone. <br />Above and below water inspection of existing concrete dock structure components and wave attenuator. <br />Engineering design and environmental permitting of dock repairs based on inspection findings, including cracks, <br />spalling, and deck slab replacement. Coastal and structural feasibility analyses of potential wave attenuator <br />improvements to achieve acceptable wave conditions within marina. <br />Sunset Harbour Yacht Club Docks & Wave Attenuator, Miami Beach <br />One Miami Condominium Seawall, Miami Dade County, Florida <br />Environmental permitting for 900 feet bulkhead repair project. Developed permit strategy as well prepared and <br />processed permit applications with the various stakeholders. Prepared bid documents for contractor selection. <br />Marine resource mapping for proposed beach nourishment project. GIS mapping of <br />marine resources for incorporation in engineering design. Feasibility study and <br />pre-application meetings with environmental agencies relative to discuss initial <br />concerns and adjust engineering design.
