<br />Survey – As the surveying profession, has advanced, in both technology and education, CGA has invested significant resources to keep abreast of these advances. Some of the most state-of-the art surveying equipment that exists today is part of our inventory. The Leica ScanStation C10 is our latest instrument addition, allowing us to develop high definition surveys for such applications as seawalls, docks, and pump station rehabilitation. As CGA is a full-service consulting company providing civil engineering, landscape architecture, GIS and land planning services, the survey department is well versed in providing detailed and accurate surveying data for engineering and architectural projects.
<br />GIS – GIS (Geographic information Systems) services specialize in municipal and governmental GIS services contracts. We strive to stay abreast of the latest technology to exploit the enhancements inherent to these new technologies. Our firm utilizes the latest suite of GIS products, including ArcSDE 10.5 and ArcGIS Pro on a SQL Server 2016 database, supporting versioned multi-user edits. Our on-staff GIS developers provide custom GIS application development, including CGA’s proprietary real-time mobile GIS applications for Code Enforcement, Fire Inspection, Building and Permitting, and Land Development software. We also provide custom GIS web-based solutions for Engineering and Planning needs including GPS tracking technologies. We have implemented a variety of web-based field applications such as: Collector, Survey123, and Workforce as new services. CGA also provides enterprise GIS configuration, implementation and maintenance services, and general GIS services for various clients. Our firm has a reputation of working closely with clients to provide the type of GIS services tailored to their specific needs.Our GIS team offers diverse experience including, but not limited to, environmental assessment and monitoring, Emergency Management including FEMA’s HAZUS vendor, for Flood and Hurricane models, experience in the use of Arc Hydro, USACE Geo RAS, for H&H modeling, field survey experience, data collection, analysis, and conversion. We also specialize in thematic mapping with 3D contours and renderings.CGA’s GIS Department works closely with all in-house professionals in support of their individual or collaborative efforts. Our GIS staff understands the needs of our engineers, surveyor mappers, environmental scientists, landscape architects, and planners, which demonstrates CGA’s position to provide that same level of competent support for all future City projects. <br />AutoCAD (Computer Aided Drafting) ServicesOur office has vast experience with the various AutoCAD suites specializing in Municipal, Land development, Engineering, Traffic, and Survey. We can provide services for all phases of project development from conceptual layout through design development, construction documents, and as-built drawings. We also have the capability with the conversion of existing PDF plans to AutoCAD. Our firm utilizes the latest Suite of AutoCAD products, including the FDOT module and Civil 3D 2018.Experienced professionals provide quality services including, but not limited to, seawall and marine design, paving grading and drainage, roadway designs, landscaping layouts, irrigation design, traffic and signalization, land surveys, water and sewer piping designs.CGA works closely with all in house professionals as well as Architects and other outside disciplines to ensure appropriate design, specifications, and codes are met.
