Each subcontractor must show safety records, proper licensure, insurance, and financial stability. Our subcontractors are subject to the same safety and performance quality rigors as our own staff. APTIM’s experience with the City and our choice to use experienced sub‐consultants eliminates the learning curve and allows us to provide continuous, seamless integrated services. The Project Manager will be in continuous communication with each subcontractor to ensure the proper scope has been defined, the budget and schedule are being satisfied, and project deliverables are of the quality the City has come to expect from APTIM. Quality Assurance/Quality Control APTM’s quality assurance/quality control program is more than just words; it represents a company‐wide commitment to our clients that every aspect of a project will be complete as requested following established guidelines, plans, and best management practices. APTIM has standard operating procedures that address virtually every aspect of our work and ensure consistent, quality work products for any project requirements (Exhibit 2). In providing our services to the City under this contract, quality assurance will involve reviewing sub‐consultant deliverables to confirm they meet APTIM’s and the City’s expectations. Quality control steps will be implemented routinely throughout the project using manual and automated methods including commercial and proprietary tools including sampling procedures/analytical test methods in accordance with established industry standards and continuous review of internal work products. APTIM measures quality through the accuracy, consistency, comprehensiveness, and understandability of deliverables, which also must meet City expectations. APTIM understands that a project is not complete until a concise, thorough, and most importantly, an understandable report is delivered. Our staff is experienced in developing reports that meet the needs of our clients and regulatory reviewers and approvers. Our staff includes word processing specialists and technical editors. Each deliverable is subjected to a stringent quality control review. Before final reproduction, the document receives a final review by technical staff and the Project Manager. APTIM can provide paper copies and electronic deliverables per the project scope. We develop standardized templates for use in our reports. This enables consistent formatting and efficient production. We use the latest in software and maintain high speed, high quality printers to ensure our deliverables are efficiently produced. EXHIBIT 2: APTIM’s carefully developed reports with repeated reviews of the data collected. They undergo editing and expert review before delivery to our clients.
