City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br />Marine and Coastal Professional Engineering Consulting Services (CCNA) | RFQ No. 18‐02‐01 <br /> <br /> <br />Aptim Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. <br />32 <br />01C032018D <br /> <br /> <br />Joao Dobrochinksi, MS <br />Numerical Modeler <br />Joao Dobrochinski is a numerical modeler and has experience in planning, <br />measuring, processing and interpreting environmental data, implementing/ <br />calibrating numerical models, and estimating design parameters for dimensioning <br />coastal and port structures. Mr. Dobrochinski has been the principal investigator in <br />several numerical modeling projects related to wave propagation, hydrodynamics, <br />sediment transport and morphology changes in different locations along the <br />Atlantic and Gulf Coasts of the United States. In those projects, beach and inlet issues were investigated <br />based on measured data and state‐of‐the‐art numerical models. <br /> <br />Stacy Buck, MS <br />Lead Biologist <br />Stacy Buck has been a marine biologist with APTIM since 2006. She manages state <br />and federal permitting for our clients and coordinates regularly with Federal <br />agencies (NMFS and USFWS) to assist in consultations for listed species and <br />critical habitat. She prepares and implements hardbottom, artificial reef and <br />seagrass biological monitoring, habitat mitigation, and coral relocation plans for <br />coastal construction projects and manages the APTIM scientific diving program, <br />which is registered with the Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS). <br /> <br />Neil Campbell <br />Operation Manager <br />Neil Campbell will provide environmental engineering services to the City. His <br />experience in Miami‐Dade County, as well as 26 years in the local environmental <br />engineering consulting and construction field, will assist the City in due diligence, <br />geologic studies, solid waste consulting, groundwater studies, health and safety <br />studies, soil and groundwater assessments, and remedial design. Mr. Campbell’s <br />environmental remediation background includes successfully managing contracts for <br />the FDOT District 6 and Miami‐Dade DERM, and completing over 40 CARs and SARs and over 30 RAPs <br />utilizing a multitude of remediation technologies at various facilities. <br /> <br />Jeffrey L. Andrews, PSM, CIH <br />Hydrographic Surveyor <br />Jeffrey Andrews is Director of Operations for APTIM’s Marine Geosciences group. <br />Mr. Andrews has over 35 years of experience in hydrographic surveying in <br />offshore and navigable channel environments using the latest state‐of‐the‐art <br />equipment. He has conducted hundreds of marine investigations and mapped <br />more than 100 million cubic yards of beach compatible sand on the continental <br />shelf. <br />
