CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH SECTION 00500 - 2 <br />GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />E.The well CONTRACTOR will be responsible for securing and providing the OWNER or <br />OWNER'S representatives, proof of all secured permits and operating licenses as <br />required by state and local agencies for the assigned work. <br />F.All maintenance, rehabilitation and construction activities will be initiated during the <br />following hours: <br />a.Standard time: 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 <br />p.m. on Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. <br />b.Daylight saving time: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to <br />5:00 p.m. on Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday <br />c.No construction activities shall take place on Sunday and on the following holidays: <br />New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving Day, and <br />Christmas Day. <br />The OWNER, ENGINEER, and the regulatory agencies must be given a 24-hour notice <br />prior to any work activities. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.1 EQUIPMENT AND PERSONNEL <br />A.The CONTRACTOR will provide capable personnel and equipment to conduct the work <br />as authorized. The work shall be performed with the equipment, which is adequate to <br />perform all phases of the work. The CONTRACTOR shall submit information on the <br />equipment to be used in this project as requested by the OWNER. <br />B.If in the opinion of the ENGINEER, the CONTRACTOR'S equipment is not capable of <br />satisfactorily performing the work described in these specifications, the CONTRACTOR <br />shall substitute equipment satisfactory to the ENGINEER. <br />C.The CONTRACTOR shall provide the services of experienced licensed drillers and <br />competent helpers. <br />D.The CONTRACTOR shall coordinate with the ENGINEER and OWNER so that the <br />project is competed in a timely manner, with minimal impact to existing facility operations.
