1 <br /> 1.05 HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS PLAN <br /> A. Within ten days of the date of Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall submit to the <br /> Engineer and Owner a Hurricane Preparedness Plan. The plan should outline the <br /> necessary measures, which the Contractor proposes to perform at no additional <br /> 1 cost to the Owner in case of a hurricane warning. <br /> B. In the event of inclement weather or whenever the Engineer shall direct; the <br /> Contractor will cause Subcontractors to protect carefully the Work and materials <br /> against damage or injury from the weather. If, in the opinion of the Engineer, any <br /> portion of Work or materials shall have been damaged or injured by reason of <br /> 1 failure on the part of Contractor or any Subcontractor to so protect the Work, such <br /> Work and materials shall be removed and replaced at the expense of the <br /> Contractor. <br /> 1.06 EQUIPMENT, TESTING & INSPECTION <br /> A. Regardless of the number of days specified in the individual sections for the <br /> manufacturers representative to be present on the site for inspection and testing, if <br /> the equipment fails to perform as specified then the representative shall remain on <br /> 1 site until the malfunction is corrected and the Owner received specified days of <br /> inspection or testing. <br /> 6.
