Understanding of the Required Services/Support <br /> Tidal Basin affirms that we fully understand the services and support required by this RFP. Due <br /> to our incumbency, proven experience, project management model, and deep bench of highly <br /> qualified and competent personnel, we are confident in our ability to manage activation of <br /> multiple contracts. Prior to each hurricane season we will meet with the City at least once at no <br /> I cost to the City, to coordinate response and communications plans to facilitate a "fast track" <br /> disaster response. We will mobilize a core team of debris management professionals in advance <br /> of hurricanes or predicted disasters to being preparation for full scale debris operations and to <br /> I work with the City to develop an event specific Debris Management Operational Plan. Our <br /> companywide disaster management response team is prepared to respond immediately in the <br /> event of future disasters in Sunny Isles Beach. We will mobilize prior to the event in order to be <br /> Ifully prepared to assist the City to recover from predictable disasters. We will be on site to assist <br /> the City within 24 hours following unpredicted disasters. <br /> We are fully equipped and maintain the requisite resources and capability to meet the needs of <br /> multiple contracts in the event of a major event. In fact, we are currently supporting over three <br /> dozen clients nation-wide, many in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico due to Hurricanes Irma and <br /> I . Harvey. Our organization is specifically designed to support multiple clients simultaneously <br /> without overpromising and underdelivering. <br /> We manage a "cadre" of over 400 on-call professionals that we can count on for immediate <br /> mobilization. We have dozens of Florida residents among our consulting staff, including many <br /> I bilingual Spanish-English speakers. Our team also includes over 70 Florida-licensed professional <br /> public adjusters who are available to assist with the City's insurance recovery needs. We are <br /> confident of our ability to respond and deploy to meet the needs of the County regardless <br /> Iof the size and scope of the event. <br /> Our Proven Experience <br /> When Hurricane Sandy hit the northeast, Tidal Basin responded within 24 <br /> hours for our clients who included New York State, Port Authority of <br /> NY/NJ, Orange County, and numerous townships in New Jersey.We <br /> deployed over 480 experienced personnel supporting our clients. We <br /> represented numerous counties, cities, universities and school districts up <br /> and down the east coast after Hurricane Matthew made landfall, while <br /> easily maintaining our support of other clients nationwide. <br /> Additional success factors are industry-leading trainingfacilities and programs, our use of <br /> �Y 9 P 9 <br /> ITempest-GEMS software to manage multiple projects simultaneously, our 45 offices spread <br /> TIDAL Every Catastrophe,Every Recovery 39 <br /> I BASIN. <br /> 1 <br />
