Eloc.. <br /> DISASTER RESPONSE DIVISION <br /> 41/ empowered with the authority to take such actions necessary to protect life, health, and <br /> safety and to protect the environment, as they deem necessary. This authority shall be <br /> irrevocable and shall include, but is not limited to, the power to unilaterally alter, suspend <br /> and/or halt any operation or portion thereof that endangers or potentially endangers life, <br /> health and safety or threatens the protection of the environment. The Safety Officer will <br /> report to the Operations Manager and to the Chief Executive Officer of the corporation. <br /> A copy of the Company's Safety and Occupational Health Policy and its related Accident <br /> Prevention Plan was not included with this proposal because of its length but will be <br /> supplied upon contract execution. Policies covered in both plans are as followed: <br /> • Management Safety Responsibilities <br /> • Safety Coordinator & Supervisor Responsibilities <br /> • Employee Safety Responsibilities <br /> • Quarterly Accident/Injury Analysis <br /> • Record Keeping <br /> • Safety Education and Training <br /> • Alcohol and Controlled Substances and Inhalants Policy <br /> • Proper Lifting Policies <br /> • Emergency Evacuation Procedures <br /> • Accident Reporting Procedures <br /> • Vehicle Safety Rules <br /> • Safety Audits/Inspections <br /> • Accident/Incident Investigation <br /> • Employee Return to Work Process <br /> TFR's Quality Control Overview <br /> The purpose of our Quality Control Plan is for TFR to establish a quality control system to <br /> perform sufficient inspections and tests of all items of work, including that of our <br /> subcontractors, to insure conformance to applicable specifications and drawings with <br /> respect to the production, quantities, field activities, materials, workmanship, construction, <br /> finish, functional performance, and identification. This control will be established for all <br /> activities except where the special provisions and the technical provisions of the contract <br /> provide for specific government control by inspections, test, or other means. <br /> The TFR control system will specifically include the <br /> rs o t <br /> ,r colt ��c,,�f surveillance and tests required in the technical provisions <br /> v_ saof the contract specifications. Both on site and off site <br /> CERTIFICATE fabrication will be controlled and keyed to the proposed <br /> a r v: construction sequence. The personnel assigned to the <br /> 04M^ - Quality Control Section will also be charged with the <br /> -- �-- _---` a:;a responsibility of policing TFR's approved safety <br /> program as required by the Accident Prevention Plan of <br /> the contract specifications. <br /> 54 <br />
