QIUFIHU Enterprises, bc. <br /> DISASTER RESPONSE DIVISION <br /> The Quality Control Plan will include at least three phases of inspection for all technical <br /> provisions of the specifications as follows: <br /> Preparatory Inspection: <br /> 1. This inspection is to be performed prior to beginning any work on a section of the <br /> technical provisions of the specifications. <br /> 2. The inspection will include a review of contract requirements; a check to assure that <br /> all materials and/or equipment have been tested, submitted, and approved. <br /> 3. Check to assure that provisions have been made to provide required control testing. <br /> 4. Examination of the work area to ascertain that all preliminary work has been <br /> completed. <br /> 5. A physical examination of materials and equipment to assure that they conform to <br /> approved shop drawings or submittal data and that all materials, certificates, and <br /> other submittal data prior to submission to the contracting officer. <br /> 6. Each submittal offered to the contracting officer for approval will bear the date and <br /> signature of a member of TFR's Quality Control organization indicating that he has <br /> reviewed the submittal and found it to be acceptable (or showing the required <br /> changes). <br /> 7. Review of the appropriate Activity Hazard Analysis to assure safety requirements <br /> are met. <br /> 8. Discussion of procedures for controlling quality of the work including repetitive <br /> deficiencies. Document construction tolerances and workmanship standards for that <br /> feature of work. <br /> 9. Check to ensure that a client Representative has accepted the plan for the work to be <br /> performed. <br /> Initial Inspection: <br /> An initial inspection will be performed as soon as representative segment of the particular <br /> item of work has been accomplished and to include examination of the quality of <br /> workmanship and a review of control testing for compliance with contract requirements, use <br /> of defective or damaged materials, omissions, and dimensional requirements. This phase <br /> shall be accomplished at the beginning of a definable feature of work. The following shall <br /> be accomplished: <br /> 1. A check of work to ensure that it is in full compliance with contract requirements. <br /> Review minutes of the preparatory meeting. <br /> 2. Verify adequacy of controls to ensure full contract compliance. Verify required <br /> control inspection and testing. <br /> 3. Establish level of workmanship and verify that it meets minimum acceptable <br /> workmanship standards. <br /> 4. Resolve all differences. <br /> 5. Check safety to include compliance with an upgrading of the safety plan and activity <br /> hazard analysis. Review the activity analysis with each worker. <br /> 6. Notify an Edinburg Representative at least 24 hours in advance of the beginning of <br /> 41111 the initial phase. Separate minutes of this phase shall be prepared by the CQC <br /> 55 <br />
