SProject Requirements <br /> SCOPE OF WORK Page 16 <br /> This bid is for Emergency Debris Clearance (Push), Debris Removal, Temporary Debris Staging and Reduction Site <br /> Management, and Tree and Limb Removal with the potential for additional services dependent on the size and <br /> degree of any disaster that may affect the City of Sunny Isles Beach.This contract requires that KDF is capable <br /> of assembling, directing, and managing a workforce that can complete the debris management operations.This <br /> is a pre-event contract and includes further work between KDF and the City of Sunny Isles Beach as part of <br /> disaster readiness to include planning and training. <br /> There are a number of aspects to this and in the previous section we provided an 'at-a-glance' project plan and <br /> in following section 'Project APPROACH' we have given an example to include all aspects of a potential disaster <br /> recovery project.This includes areas that fall outside the scope of this project to illustrate previous experience <br /> we have at KDF and how we apply this We have split these into 3 key areas and they are PREPARE, RESPOND <br /> and RESTORE. <br /> Planning and Active Watch- Pre-disaster <br /> rare a{re ^-' Project initiation Training and-`Wait' preparation <br /> DISASTER <br /> Debris collection, <br /> Respond > <br /> Post-disastei• Debris removal, <br /> response Cut and push management sites recording and <br /> disposal <br /> Rest®M Site restoration Project close <br /> PREPARE is a critical time in the lifespan of a disaster and in other TABS we describe this in greater detail. <br /> Forging a great working relationship between KDF and the City Debris Management Consultant and their team is <br /> our initial focus. By doing this we ensure greater collaboration and success and become a partner working with <br /> you to achieve the safest and fastest results for your community. <br /> Disaster pre-planning and annual training schedules also allow us to carry out a training needs analysis and <br /> ensure that our training is appropriate and effective for your organization. Through this we will initially focus on <br /> preliminary TDSR site selections, review and update debris collection zone maps, review and update of <br /> primary road clearance routes, local subcontractor coordination, and items such as hazardous waste <br /> handling, beach and shoreline restoration, and current Federal, State and Local guidelines and <br /> KDF Enterprises, LLC RFP Disaster Debris Management and Disposal Services 18-04-02 <br />
