Outreach efforts: Contact small, minority and women-owned business trades, <br /> development organizations, source systems. <br /> 2. Internal efforts: Issuing a company-wide policy statement to delineate the proper levels <br /> of responsibility of all personnel who are able to implement the policy, including technical <br /> personnel; developing procedures to implement the company's Small Business Program <br /> and monitoring program effectiveness; establishing, maintaining and using small, small <br /> disadvantaged and women-owned small business source lists, guides and other data for <br /> soliciting prospective subcontractors; initiating follow-up efforts to determine why small, <br /> small disadvantaged and women-owned small businesses did not respond or were not <br /> successful in receiving subcontracts; making provisions for small, small disadvantaged <br /> and women-owned small business concerns to compete to developmental work which will <br /> likely result in later production opportunities; reserving group(s) of products/services for <br /> small business competition; structuring organizational elements so that the company may <br /> offer managerial, technical and financial assistance; presenting workshops, seminars and <br /> training programs to guide and encourage buyers and technical personnel; developing <br /> special recognition incentives for outstanding performance in the implementation of the <br /> ® Small Business Program and any other efforts that demonstrate management and <br /> employee interest and involvement in the Program. <br />
