CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH – CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR GOLDEN SHORES <br />UTILITY UNDERGROUNDING AND ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS (CCNA) - RFQ NO. 18-08-01 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION E - QUALIFICATION INFORMATION AND ASSIGNED PERSONNEL <br /> <br />Central Broward Water Control District (CBWCD) providing planning, capital improvements <br />costs, design and construction administration services which resolved flooding and <br />environmental concerns for the Cities. CTA has performed major and minor stormwater <br />basin studies and has implemented recommendations of those studies through design, <br />permitting, & CEI of basin-wide improvements. Our stormwater master planning projects <br />include computer modeling using Streamline Technologies ICPR Software as well as <br />PCSWMM, the commercial version of US EPA SWMM5 Software. CTA has used the ICPR for <br />the past twenty (20) years, and utilizes the latest update, V4. <br />We have designed and permitted over 400,000 linear feet of storm sewer and exfiltration <br />trench. These designs have included sustainable practices such as the design of bio-swales, <br />exfiltration trench, tidal backflow devices, STORMCEPTORS, and wetland/retention preserve <br />areas. <br />CTA has recently created the Stormwater <br />Master Plan for the City of Hallandale <br />Beach (2,816 Acres), the Western C-11 <br />Basin Study for the CBWCD (15,952 acres), <br />and for a major portion of the City of <br />Greenacres known as Original Section (250 <br />Acres). These projects included <br />development of scheduled improvements <br />to be implemented over a number of fiscal <br />years to mitigate flooding conditions. We <br />are currently working as the Prime with our <br />sub-consultant, Hazen and Sawyer, on the <br />Comprehensive Stormwater Master Plan for <br />Aventura; and we are a sub-consultant to Hazen and Sawyer (the Prime) on the City of Fort <br />Lauderdale Durrs & River Oaks Neighborhood Storm Water Improvement Implementation <br />Project, and also are in the process of completing the East Basin Study (14,938 acres) for <br />the CBWCD. <br />Water and Sanitary <br />Within the past ten (10) years CTA has completed numerous sections of the Utility Zone <br />Analysis (UAZ) Program (including both water and sanitary sewer), City of Lake Worth <br />Watermain Replacement, City of Hollywood Watermain Replacement, City of Plantation <br />Watermain Replacement, the City of Oakland Park Watermain and Sanitary Replacement, <br />and the Town of Davie Watermain and Sanitary Replacement. CTA has surveyed, designed, <br />permitted, bid and managed the construction of thousands of acres/feet of watermain, <br />sanitary, and lift station infrastructure. <br /> <br /> <br />E | Page 6
