<br />As a civil engineer, Juan has 24 years of municipal and utility engineering consulting experience
<br />in South Florida, most of it in Miami-Dade County. His broad and diverse experience includes
<br />projects involving water supply and distribution, wastewater collection and transmission,
<br />stormwater management, roadway, general civil engineering and land development. He brings
<br />not only technical analysis and design expertise, but also sound project management experience
<br />in the preparation of work plans and schedules, permit documents, bid/contract documents,
<br />specifications, opinions of construction costs and quality control. Juan also understands the
<br />importance of maintaining clear and constant communication with clients through all phases of
<br />the project.
<br />Gary Ratay, P.E. | Civil and Utilities Engineering
<br />Gary has 32 years of civil engineering experience, with particular expertise in general municipal
<br />engineering, water/wastewater utility design, water resources, stormwater design, project
<br />permitting, and construction phase services. His principal areas of practice include water
<br />distribution, wastewater collection, force main, stormwater, and associated pump station design,
<br />water treatment plant design, well pump design, and site piping, feasibility and engineering
<br />reports. Gary serves as project manager or project engineer for numerous South Florida
<br />water utility clients. He served as project manager for City of North Bay Village Wastewater
<br />Rehabilitation Program, Town Engineer for the Town of Miami Lakes, project engineer for Palm
<br />Beach County’s aquifer storage and recovery Floridan Aquifer well projects, and as project
<br />engineer for the Town of Jupiter’s emergency flood outfall project that included pump station design. Additionally, Gary
<br />serves as project manager providing a variety of general municipal and utility needs to the Town of Cutler Bay, Village of
<br />Palmetto Bay, City of Miramar, City of North Miami, City of Plantation and Town of Bay Harbor Islands. Gary has served
<br />numerous South Florida municipalities, including Hollywood, Pompano Beach, Jupiter, Bay Harbor Islands, Briny Breezes,
<br />West Palm Beach, Miami Beach, and Royal Palm Beach.
<br />Stefano Viola, P.E. | Civil and Utilities Engineering
<br />Stefano has 12 years of diverse civil engineering experience, including roadway restoration and
<br />resurfacing, drainage modeling, water/wastewater utility design, stormwater master planning,
<br />preparation of engineering drawings, permitting and site/plan preparation and review. He also
<br />has experience serving a diverse group of clients, including counties, municipalities, government
<br />agencies, and private developers. He also has experience with AutoCAD, WaterCAD, StormCAD,
<br />and Cascade software programs and design analysis software.
<br />Ken Pasken, P.E. | Civil and Utilities Engineering
<br />Ken has seven years of civil engineering experience in retail, mixed-use, and hospitality land
<br />development in South Florida. He has worked on a number of high-profile projects in Miami,
<br />including Brickell City Centre and the Saxony Hotel. His areas of specialization include water
<br />and sewer main plan and profile design, drainage system design, site planning, circulation and
<br />maneuverability analyses, and local jurisdictional permitting. In addition, Ken has served a diverse
<br />group of clients, including municipalities, government agencies, and private developers.
