<br />Project engineer. The design and construction of the undergrounding program is anticipated to take multiple years to complete.
<br />The underground program will be broken into multiple phases that can be constructed on an annual basis. In order to balance
<br />potentially competing priorities such as cost, project duration, traffic impacts for this large -scale project, development of a
<br />Master Plan was recommended in order to evaluate these priorities ahead of any detailed design of any single undergrounding
<br />phase.

<br />Roadway engineer for site/civil engineering services for the 14-acre Bayfront site that previously housed the Miami Herald
<br />newspaper. Kimley-Horn prepared 15% concept plans for the reconstruction of I-395 from west of I-95 to McArthur Causeway.
<br />This involved intricate analysis of multiple roadway alignment alternatives, improvements to the network of local roads, MOT,
<br />drainage analysis, bridge analysis, modifications to the existing interchange of I -395/SR 836/I-95, signing master plan, utility
<br />analysis and impacts to the PD&E and further re-evaluations. It also included extensive coordination with FDOT, MDX and
<br />stakeholders.

<br />tolling from Sawgrass Expressway to south of the Lantana Mainline Toll Plaza. Existing toll plazas and gantries will be
<br />demolished and new AET tolling points will be constructed. Services also include specifications package preparation, signing
<br />and pavement marking analysis and plans, lighting design, ITS facility design, utility coordination, and landscaping plans.

<br />Project engineer and engineer of record for roadway and drainage improvements for over 4,000 linear feet of roadway within
<br />the Flood Mitigation Area in the Town of Medley. Responsible for development of roadway and drainage cross sections,
<br />roadway alignment, temporary drainage plans for an emergency trunk line, pre - and post-design water treatment calculations,
<br />exfiltration trench calculations and design, utility coordination, stormwater pollutions prevention plans (SWPPP), review of as -
<br />builts, and signing and pavement markings. The Town seeks to alleviate frequent flooding within the basin known as the Flood
<br />Mitigation Area as well as upgrade the existing roadway, which has deteriorated in part due to the absence of adequate
<br />stormwater management facilities. As one of the largest public infrastructure undertakings in the Town’s history, this projec t is
<br />expected to alleviate flooding and increase roadway capacity in the area. The combination of improvements in conjunction with
<br />ongoing private land development in the area is revitalizing the industrial Town of Medley.

<br />Project engineer for 3-mile design-build project from south of Miami Gardens Drive in Miami-Dade County to south of Miramar
<br />Parkway in Broward County, including the HEFT interchange. The project will improve I-75’s managed lanes network for all
<br />motorists and improve mobility, relieve congestion, provide additional travel options and accommodate future growth in the
<br />area. Responsibilities for this segment include signing and pavement marking plans, ITS plans development, and post -design
<br />and construction phase services. Construction started in late 2014 with completion expected later this year.
