<br />Project manager for the design and installation of 7,000± linear feet of 12 -inch diameter water mains, 8,000± linear feet of 8-
<br />inch sewer mains and service connections in order to sustain present and future economic redevelopment within a 70± acre,
<br />mostly-industrial area of Miami-Dade County. Services included planning, hydraulic modeling, analysis and design, stakeholder
<br />coordination and public involvement, permitting, assistance during bid and award, and construction phase services. Many
<br />properties in the project area are on private water wells and septic systems, and others are served by the neighboring City o f
<br />Hialeah. The plans included a sequence to transfer those connections from Hialeah to Miami-Dade County without service
<br />interruptions.

<br />Served as project manager. Kimley-Horn was responsible for the design of approximately 8,800 feet of 72-inch raw water
<br />pipeline through a heavily urbanized section of the City. The project included the implementation of a trenchless technology
<br />(microtunneling) for approximately 1,300 feet under two major canals and a major rail road switch yard.

<br />Project engineer. Kimley-Horn prepared a water and sewer master plan for the Lakeview Utility District, a special assessment
<br />district created to expand water and sewer distribution and collection facilities to a 600+ acre portion of the Town of Medley
<br />which is currently undeveloped. In addition, Kimley-Horn performed modeling of the existing water distribution system using
<br />WaterGEMS software to identify potential fire flow deficiencies within the existing distribution system and propose
<br />improvements to the system to address these deficiencies.

<br />Juan has been serving as project manager for the City of Hollywood’s Citywide Water Main Replacement Program. To date the
<br />project has included the replacement of over 77 miles of existing aging and undersized water mains up to 16 -inch diameter in
<br />order to increase flow capacity within residential and commercial areas of the City of Hollywood, FL. The proj ect also includes
<br />replacement of existing fire hydrants and service connections, and addition of new hydrants and services where needed to
<br />meet water service and fire protection requirements. The installations occurred within three major roadway jurisdicti ons: the City
<br />of Hollywood, Broward County, and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 4.
