<br />medians between SW 136th and SW 184th Street consisting of 24 medians spanning 6 miles. The planting design incorporates
<br />new trees, palms, shrubs, and groundcovers into the medians following FDOT design standards. The planting and irrigation
<br />contract documents were presented to FDOT for right-of-way landscape permits. The scope includes conceptual design,
<br />planting and irrigation design, and permit processing assistance.

<br />a new 15-acre waterfront passive park that will transform the underutilized waterfront into a more cohesive and vibrant public
<br />space that will help connect the general public to the waterfront. The main features of the pa rk include the Expo Lawn, Regatta
<br />Lawn, Tropical Gardens, Promenade, Multi-use Path Connector, Tree Alee and Children’s Play Area. Kimley-Horn was tasked
<br />with the landscape architectural and civil engineering design of the park from concept through constru ction administration.

<br />Project manager on the Kimley-Horn team that prepared the conceptual plan and construction plans of an 18 -acre park located
<br />on the corner of NW 82nd Street and NW 114th Avenue. The concept for the park consisted of two adjacent sites with both
<br />active and passive recreational amenities Park amenities include the following recreational components, community center
<br />building, baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball, soccer fields, playground, multi-use field, walkways,
<br />boardwalk, and wetlands.
