<br />Construction observer. Kimley-Horn is providing preliminary design, evaluation, and due diligence services for this mixed-use
<br />project for the City of Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency. The project consists of the redevelopment of
<br />several pieces of City property from existing surface parking lots to a new multi -story parking garage; active park and plaza
<br />areas; and general open space to enhance the pedestrian and beachgoer experience in the Fort Lauderdale beach area. Las
<br />Olas Boulevard is being improved to provide a “Complete Streets” design to better connect the shops, restaurants, and other
<br />businesses with the new Oceanside Plaza on the south side of Las Olas Boulevard. The design of Oceanside Plaza includes
<br />space for special events such as festivals and concerts; play areas for children; and a convenient porte -cochere drop off.
<br />Kimley-Horn is providing the initial site civil engineering design, roadway design, permitting coordination, stormwater, utility,
<br />franchise utility coordination, and other services.

<br />Construction administration. Kimley-Horn is currently providing civil engineering services for the development of CityPark at The
<br />Ballpark of The Palm Beaches, in West Palm Beach, Florida. The 12.2-acre park is at the southwest corner of the spring
<br />training facility and was donated to the City of West Palm Beach by Palm Beach County and will be funded by the Houston
<br />Astros and Washington Nationals. Kimley-Horn is the prime consultant on the project providing on-site civil engineering,
<br />landscape architecture, permitting, and construction phase service s. Kimley-Horn is also directing subconsultants performing
<br />the architecture, landscape layout, survey, and sewer system design.

<br />Construction observer. Kimley-Horn is providing a full array of consulting services for the existing Delray Square Plaza located
<br />at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Military Trail in Delray Beach. The redevelopment of the 35 -acre site consists of the
<br />relocation of the Publix grocery store, construction of new retail spaces and two new o utparcels, and the reconfiguration of the
<br />existing parking areas. Kimley-Horn was responsible for developing the site layout, stormwater and drainage design
<br />(StormTech underground chambers), and utility and grading design. Juliana also aided the project ma nager with obtaining
<br />approvals from the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), City of Delray Beach, Lake Worth Drainage District
<br />(LWDD), Palm Beach County Health Department, and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for turn lane desig n
<br />and permitting. The project team was also responsible for site planning and site plan processing with the City of Delray Beac h,
<br />and landscape architecture services, and is currently providing construction phase services.

<br />development located in unincorporated Palm Beach County. Our tasks included the provision of permit support to obtain
<br />approvals from the Palm Beach County Land Development Division and other departments for offsite roadway and drainage
<br />improvements; a turn lane extension on Hypoluxo Road; pedestrian walks within the Hypoluxo Road right -of-way; installation of
<br />a guardrail adjacent to Lake Worth Drainage District (LWDD) L-18 canal; temporary detention areas to accommodate additional
<br />drainage from the Hypoluxo Road improvements; a permanent connection for the drainage from Hypoluxo Road into the on -site
<br />lake system; drainage provisions for the future extension of Haverhill Road; drainage improvements on Hypoluxo Farms Road;
<br />and drainage improvements on Clock Road.
