49CES Consultants ● City of Sunny Isles Beach RFQ No. 18-11-01 <br /> <br />STANDARD FORM 330 (REV 8/2016)  PAGE F-1 <br />In its continuing efforts to address sea level rise, the City of Miami <br />Beach awarded Ric-Man Construction and CES with this <br />design/build contract for neighborhood improvements throughout <br />the West Avenue Corridor. <br />The scope of work for this project includes the complete <br />replacement and rehabilitation of all public underground water, <br />sanitary sewer, and storm sewer utilities, including a new 80,000 <br />GPM storm water pump station within the project’s corridor. In <br />addition, as the lead civil designer, CES s responsible for the <br />complete street redesign which includes raising the existing grade <br />of the roadway by approximately 2 feet, a revised typical section to <br />incorporate a pedestrian/bicyclist-friendly corridor, public/private <br />property harmonization, new traffic signals, street lighting, and <br />landscaping. This contract also includes the design of a “bay walk”, <br />which extends into Biscayne Bay, west of the proposed pump <br />station. <br />The utilities being installed include 16,000 LF of water main, 7,050 <br />LF of sanitary gravity sewer, 12,800 LF of storm sewer and an <br />80,000 GPM stormwater pump station and outfall. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />F.
