50CES Consultants ● City of Sunny Isles Beach RFQ No. 18-11-01 <br />STANDARD FORM 330 (REV 8/2016)  PAGE F-1 <br />Project Overview <br />The Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department (WASD), in an <br />effort to comply with the 2013 Consent Decree and improve operation its <br />wastewater collection system to achieve compliance, established the <br />Pump Station Improvement Program (PSIP). Under this program, WASD <br />will repair or replace over 140 existing and non-compliant wastewater <br />pump stations. The improvements vary from pump upgrades to complete <br />pump station and force main upgrades. <br />Scope of Work <br />CES is one of the design consultants selected to analyze and design <br />the improvements to the non-compliant pump stations. C E S i s <br />desig nin g i mprovements for over twent y (20) pump stations a nd <br />connect i ng forc e mains. Our team provides full design services, <br />which includes surveying, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, <br />mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and electrical <br />engineering. The main complexities of these projects and designs are <br />the accelerated schedules required to meet the Consent Decree <br />schedules. The aggressive schedule requires efficient project <br />management and effective project controls. <br />CES is providing the following services: <br />• Topographic and Utility Survey <br />• Geotechnical Investigations <br />• Utility Coordination <br />• Design Services – pump sizing, electrical, structural <br />• Permitting <br />• Project Management <br />• Construction Management <br />F.
